I love these kinds of places...if I ever won the lottery I would go around renovating these old haunted places and make em something...but preserve as much as I could. I hate to see them sitting there rotting and being vandalized.

just a correction for ya. The chalkboard sketches depicted children reciting the pledge of allegiance, not whatever you said. They have been tagged over to the point where you cant see the images anymore, and they have since been removed from he school.

I read a story about how the fire happened saposidly it was a ghost or something i cant remember I believe the story is in the book called New Jersey Haunts. Its a good book I got it in Ocean City in a small book store on the board walk.

I would give it a read if you like stuff like this.

i was at train tracks somewhere in n it got rlly hot in like 2 seconds just a wave jumped in the car and took off and there was a sad little boy in the back of the car wouldnt say anything it was so creepy!

ive been here, its madd creepy... i went with 6 other friends, and my one buddy curse out buckeye, and once he did that, we heard one of the doors bang in another room. We left immediately! But if you live in Jersey, its definitely an interesting place to check out!

I'm sorry but is it me? Am I seeing things? At 18 seconds at the bottom of the wall it looks like a lady's head I can see the face,eye and it looks like a back in the day hair style that "she" or whatever it is, is wearing. And at 38 seconds I swear it looks like two eyes on the wall looking over at the metal tube thing I know that one could be just holes in the wall but it's still very creepy looking.

About 10 years ago, in my ghost chasing days.... I was there with a few friends. I started to get a little cold so I went in the car. I locked the doors and was sitting in the back seat. Everybody was inside still. Next thing I know both front LOCKED car doors flung open at the same time. To this day I will NEVER go back there.

yeah i was there 2 night ago.. we rolled up infront of school by stairs these kids from centeral dipped so fast ran down the street where they parked there cars lol.. yeah.. we met up with them..we had 2 flash lights end up going up go 2nd floor.. it was pretty scary..we didnt check the hole thing..we led the kids out..they got scared... we was looking for chalk board... i was thinking just staying in room very quiet if we would hear anything?

agree the ghost stuff is crap. My aunt graduated from Lambertville High in 1955 (the last class). It was closed because it was obsolete and too small for the growing area. South Hunterdon High replaced it. My aunt said the football story etc are all BS. It was just a regular school that the town outgrew.

I was there in the late 1980s and the school was really intact. I can see someone spraypainted the High School I went to on the wall...Hamilton High West ROFL Tis a shame about the fire in 1992 it was a real museum before the fire. The last class at Lambertville High was 1955

Ok, first of all as a resident of stockton, the next town over i can say that there were no casualties in the fire. second, yes the place is creepy, but i've been there and it really isn't safe to be romping around anymore...

if you visit this place park on a side street in town...its obvious there are people up there when a car is parked right outside of the high school. when i was there both times cops just drove up the road..didnt stop and go up.
