@GeenahB1 No, the shea butter is a conditioner. you need a type of leave in conditioner on your hair so that the gel wont leave your hair crunchy. I would suggest u use another conditioner for a leave in, especially if u are on the go. Shea butter doesnt mix all that well with other products and it take a lil longer to dry.

You may want to (if your not already) be very light with the shea moisture or maybe start applying the shea mositure to dry hair then wetting and then applying the gel. I've eliminated all perming and I'm doing the minimal amount of heat so every two weeks I do get a flat iron.I'm in the process of growing this dreadful perm out. I've been at it about 4 or 5 months. I suggest deep conditioning on dry hair so your hair can absorb the maximum product. A good choice for deep conditining are all natural conditioners such as Kinky Curly Knot Today, Oyin Handmade Honey Hemp Conditioner and many more.

Sorry to hear that.. I don't keep gel in my hair long enough for it to start flaking. If gel or any product that you use cause your hair to flake and does not work for you then just use a leave-in conditioner and set it with an oil.

Whenever I use this product with the Curl Enhancing Smoothie, I get bits in my hair. It's not really flakes, but little bits or balls of product. Does that happen to you or is that why you only wear a wash n go for 1 day? Love the video :)
Thanks.. I don't get the white build up that some people experience.. I guess it's because our hair reacts to products differently. I wear my wash & go for only one day because I usually don't like the way it looks the next day.. I hate trying to revive it after it has been smooshed from me sleeping on it. Also, gel can be drying if you leave it on your hair for too long, so I like washing it out regularly.

I've tried this product and I actually like them both. THe olive Oil is more crunchy than the argan oil and I like the shine from the argan oil. YOur hair had done well in the natural state. I have followed all of your vids which have helped me alot. Thanks for sharing.

I don't put a lot of the product on my hair so I never experience the white residue that other people complain about. Also, our hair responds to products differently, so that may be another reason why I don't get the white bulbs or residue.
Would your hair turn out the same way if you got under the dryer for a little while to make sure it is not wet? Also where can I get all those products?

I've checked out your latest videos and ended up subscribing, I enjoy your tutorials and your down-to-earth warm persona. I never tried that kind of Eco Style gel, only the olive oil one, but i must say it seems to work wonders, and sweet and subtle is better then strong and loud xD

Whenever I use this product with the Curl Enhancing Smoothie, I get bits in my hair. It's not really flakes, but little bits or balls of product. Does that happen to you or is that why you only wear a wash n go for 1 day? Love the video :)

Thanks.. I don't get the white build up that some people experience.. I guess it's because our hair reacts to products differently. I wear my wash & go for only one day because I usually don't like the way it looks the next day.. I hate trying to revive it after it has been smooshed from me sleeping on it. Also, gel can be drying if you leave it on your hair for too long, so I like washing it out regularly.

@mmlr1983 i experience the same problem, so i started using clear products like kinky-curly to avoid that 'bitty' build-up.

I've tried this product and I actually like them both. THe olive Oil is more crunchy than the argan oil and I like the shine from the argan oil. YOur hair had done well in the natural state. I have followed all of your vids which have helped me alot. Thanks for sharing.

Hey kerry its so crazy i do the same exact thing to my hair with my wash & go but instead of the eco styler i use miss jessie quicj curls but def going to try the eco styler because yours didnt seem as wild as mine fully dry

I don't put a lot of the product on my hair so I never experience the white residue that other people complain about. Also, our hair responds to products differently, so that may be another reason why I don't get the white bulbs or residue.
