Try to understand all the history of MGS series and u see why this is the best game/movie ever, cuz since MGS1, Hideo Kojima was plannig to do the 4. In the end of MGS4, Big Boss just explain every single thing that hapenned in MGS series

@Carphil07 Actually I doubt that's true. From what I've heard, Kojima never planned to make any games after MGS2. That was to be his last game, but then he changed his mind for 3, then again for 4 and another time for Peace Walker and Rising. If all the games fit together it is only thanks to the writing of himself and his team and a good dose of retconning.

@Carphil07 The only planned Metal Gear game was MGS2. Kojima is just clever when it comes to writing on the go, even if he fails miserably at times (ie the explanations for Vamp and Liquid Ocelot.)

It's sad, because when Snake was added in Brawl nobody really paid attention to him even though he came from the best game series as this.

@Lex30911 It's kind of a nod to Kojima passing on the torch to his team.

MGS4, like FOXALIVE, gave the universe/series a semi-blank slate to work with, now that Snake destroyed the Patriots/all the mysteries were half-assedly explained.

That said, Rising will take place between MGS2 and 4. So Raiden's happy ending in this game isn't ruined. For once, despite all the "CUT AT WILL LOLOL" bullshit, Rising gets a point.

Yeah alot of the sfx included in this game were used by valve, like the sound from when screaming mantis threw that knife into the wall, or when maryl dropped her gun before.

This game deserves something big. I don't know what but it needs to be noticed to all people whether thy like video games or not. This is next generation game mechanics. ITs the most emotional game i've everplayed and its so beautifully done. It got me all teary eyed. Something needs to be done.. perhaps a movie? This game deserves a movie maybe not an animated version but with real actors. Real people will bring this to the greated movie of the year.

Man that game was intense. I think i just wanted a more accessible audience enjoy the story but I don't think that works without the participating experience like the corridor scene just before this video. Maybe MGS:3D will encourage all those casual gamers to pick it up. That's what ima tell my friends

Actually, there were a couple of other, Japanese composers involved with MGS 4 soundtrack as well as Williams. I think it's marketed as being made by Williams because he's a well-known composer. Big names help to sell things.
