  • @cordedpoodle seriously?! pull that giant hate stick out of your ass. nobody cares about your berklee degree, and don't be sad that people aren't dancing around like maniacs and feeling amazed watching your concerto, because these ones got SOUL, brother. i mean, asshole.

  • Michael Collins is probably one of the funniest, silliest people I've ever met.

  • this is sweet. if you guy have the time you should give Rems Floating Chandelier a listen:)

  • @Lllburns

    Pant-peeing LOL. Thank you!

  • @Lllburns bahahaha

  • @Lllburns I almost want to make new YouTube logins, so I can like this over and over

  • Its not pretentious at all. Although you may not understand it, this music is spiritual and cultural. The name Prince Rama comes from the epic poem "Ramayana", a narrative allegory that conveyed the cardinal precepts of Hinduism. If you listen to the lyrics you'll hear that they are reciting Hindu and Buddhist mantra's. The lyrics are something like

  • Raghupathi raghava rajaram

    Pathithapaavana sitharam

    Sundhara vigraha meghashyam

    Ganga tulasi salagram

    Bhadra girishwara sitharam

    Bhakatha janapriya sitharam

    Janaki ramana sitharam

    Jaya jaya raghava sitharam

  • LOL, its a bit pretentious! And they're playing at the Cafe Oto in Dalston of all places. Pretentious everything. But the weird thing is, i think i like this. Does anyone know if they practise Buddhism because they seem like people who embrace things around them and live in euphoria all day long lol.

  • @icomeup2urKnees According to wikipedia they were raised "on a Hare Krishna commune in Florida", so I would imagine they have some kind of connection to Hinduism.

  • @Pheeze

I just read my comment. Since writing that, i have listened to this song at least once a day. I grew up in a Hindu household and i learnt to play classical indian music on the harmonium and this is one of the songs i played on it but not the way they do. I've never been exposed to this band before and so glad i came across them by chance. They look so free. I iwish i had been born in a Hare Krishna commune in Florida rather than a 3 bed house in a London Suburban town haha.

  • @icomeup2urKnees Two of them were raised from birth in a family of Hindu religion. A lot of people think their whole Hindu theme is a cliched shtick when in reality this is just what the grew up with as kids.

  • look at the emperor's new clothes!

  • @slimturnpike Although contrary to your purpose, I suspect this is one of the greatest validating accolades one could direct at any new music, that it doesn't accord with one's existing sense of reality.

  • @wwwhatsup you mean the reality you conjure up but which isn't there? your intellectual response to my emotional reaction ... doesn't convince me ... it's all opinion and i stand by mine. happy listening.

  • Hare Krsna!!!

  • thsi is what happens when you want to make the anti music crap. and do way too many drugs.

  • super ! j'adore ce groupe !

  • this is some pretentious shit.. very "new york"

  • @hellixxx how is that?

  • Saw them live in Antwerp about a month and a half ago. Couldn't believe my eyes and ears. Even had the chance to talk to them. They're the sweetest persons you've ever met!

  • Si te digo la verdad me parece una autentica bazofia alucinatoria (yo tambien se comer tripis)

  • dude in the shorts gots the sweetest moves

  • @BohemianRapture I like to call him the jungle dude.

  • Fifty bucks says they voted for Bush.

  • haha.. WTF.. i love it

  • Prince Rama, are you Hare Krishnas? I read in the Washington Post yesterday that you were raised in the ISHKON community.

  • I love it!! Takes me back to the 60's - just a wild child ride.

  • yall to hire a keyboard person

  • what the fuck???

i've never seen anything like this.

i guess if i got all my friends together and did 50+ doses of acid and decided to bang on some shit i could get a record deal. nice singing. and nice short shorts.

    you guys suck at music.
