so well, i know 'bout video and sound quality. I've get the soundtrack and video separately in quite much beter quality, then this one, but it's just tube, and so on i found it right here, somewhere on tubes, and i loved their performance. No more.
^^ Nursery rhymes and fairy tales are full of stuff parents would never tell their children if they knew the original meanings of phrases, metaphors and symbols.
"I'll dye my pettycoats I'll dye them red." My mother loved the song and then I told her what that meant... We also sang this song at my choir... right after the concert I told the teacher what it was about.
@Ironsouled so you're saying, "in simple terms" (as if I were and idiot), that a virgin sleeps with a man. I've read some older comments (which actually make sense), and from those comments I was able to deduce that a red petticoat means that the girl was a prostitute. So basically, she got into prostitution to make money for the man she loved. Correct, Ironsouled?
Don't worry, I have no qualms about your intelligence, its the other 90% of the community (although a remarkably small amount actually tread through this music) that I fear I ahve to simplify things for.
I'm okay with the sound quality given this is one of my fav groups.

Wow that girl singing the solo sure is breathtakingly beautiful. Maybe I should immigrate to Ireland

Nevertheless it's a beautiful song.

@Ironsouled what does it mean? :)

@ImaginaryNightshade
in simple terms... petticoats are an old form of undergarment correct?
Yes, yes of course they are.
Now, when a woman breaks her hymen (maidenhead in those days) there is blood.
What color does red turn white?

And yeah, thats precisely what the song is about.

@jemflower yeah, the meanings are really kind of creepy. Perhaps their teaching children about history in pleasent ways.
