Not bad, not bad. Not genius, but with some tweaking I could actually see this plot work as a manga storyline.

You know, the Kirin fight reminded me; it's really a damn shame we never got to see Herb animated.

Becuase Herb >>> Everything else in the entire Ranmaverse. (Except possibly Saffron.)

Weak. Ranma was so weak in this! Why didn't he use the Umusen move... it's the move where he attacks like a thief, silent stalker... It's almost as if the animators made this up as they went along... Kuno, Mousse, and the 2 fathers weren't even vital roles and needed to go along the trip...

To be fair, even in the manga, Ranma forgets most of his best moves half the time. For example, Kumon Ryu would have gotten his ass kicked in their very first fight if Ranma had just remembered that he could use the Mouko Takabisha.
