i think that when the bar tender was saying "you know what". what if perhaps Jayden was addicted to the ARI just as much as the drugs. Notice how he would always have a bloody nose after using the ARI sometimes, not to mention the last time he uses the ARI in the game, his eye starts bleeding after some time. I beleive he was experiencing something along the lines of that what desomnd from Assassins Creed was "the bleeding affect.

I agree that the ARI is messing with his mind but i think the bar tender was referring to the Triptocaine (the blue stuff). I think that triptocaine fights the hallucinations or other side effects of the ARI. Have you noticed whenever he uses the ARI for a while he wants to take triptocaine?

SPOILER - It seems weird - like wouldn't the bar tender just say "triptocaine" - rather than "you-know-what". most people would just think straight away he was referring to the triptocaine. EG. if Ethan isn't captured by the police, Norman is in his apartment after "Jayden Blues". As he stands up the ARI world blends in (even though his glasses aren't on) and the bar tenders voice is repeated "be careful not to over indulde in you-know-what" alluding kind of that he was referring to the ARI

I think the bartender may be referring to both because the ARI makes Norman hallucinate and loose control of his hand and the triptocaine stops the hallucinations and fixes his hands. Also, in one level i was given the option to wash my face instead of take the drug, showing that the ARI messed with his eyes and that washing his face could work as well as the drug

Actually, The triptocaine isnt the problem to Norman. Its the ARI. The triptocaine stops the side effects of the ARI. Notice that (other the time with Mad jack and if Ethan is captured) whenever he takes the glasses off, the trippy shit starts.
