@545chaz Aw. No, they're not smelly - they eat hay and veggies, so their feces has a pretty neutral smell compared to cats and dogs. But of course, if you don't clean the cage/rabbit toilet often it will smell. And nope, they're not expensive. The only thing you need to know is that they require a lot of love and attention so they don't get lonely and depressed. :-) And they can get quite old, that's important to take into your considerations.

This made me cry. I lost my baby Muffin yesterday. He was 8 years old and I'll never forget a single second. My other house bun Poppy is missing him loads so she is being bonded with another bun this weekend.
Would love if my rabbit acted like this unfortunately hes very vicious, the breeder must not have handled him up to the age of 2 months and we tried to handle him every day or 2nd day but hes very aggressive and he wont let you pick him up let alone come close to you. hes the opposite of my other rabbit that rabbit was so placid and loving.
@ChelseaRawkz hi, i'm sorry your rabbit is a little bit vicious, there is probably not much you can do but in general, bunnys don't like to be picked up. sure, some do not complain that much, but instinctively they don't like it and if you do make sure to keep hold of the legs in the back (i don't know the proper english name for that) so they feel more secure. good luck anyways and keep trying!!
@ChelseaRawkz My rabbit don't like to be picked up, so I just don't do it. Rabbits are afraid of heights. Try to let the rabbit come to you and not the other way around. Sit on the floor with a blancket and some treats and wait.
@trylletanja my rabbits are not afraid of heights. One of them climbs in the top cubby of the cat tree all the time. My other one, if he can reach it, he will climb on it. He is often climbing on the top of the couch and he loves being picked up.
@poizon4 I think there's a difference there. Rabbits like to be on high places that they can climb on. When they find a high place they have a good overview and can spot any danger faster. But when you force a rabbit, they will (often?) be scared of heights. Like if you place the Bunny on a high table or other places, where it's not used to be. Or if you hold the rabbit in the air away from your body.

@trylletanja Now I know what my rabbit's breed is! You see when I went to the pet store they said she was a Lion Head but then 2 years later I researched them and she isn't one. She is super furry on her body and short haird on her head.

@MonkeyMarie123 In Danish the breed is called "dwarf fuchs". I believe they're called cashmere lop in English. It's a big dwarf rabbit with long fur on the body (like teddy rabbits) and short fur on the head (like holland lop). But besides the longer fur it's just like holland lops.

@XyraNeoxx She has some ekstra skin under her chin but that's normal - I don't know why but I guess they can use it to warm their front paws. But if it's big and you can see it when the rabbit is sitting up, then it's a sign of overweight. Meaning the rabbit should eat less/more healthy and exercise more.
@trylletanja My rabbit's blubber is nice and squwishi! But in the wild, its actually for building the nest and soften-ing it up with fur for the babies. (The female takes out the fur from the 'blubber' and puts it on the nest)
@XyraNeoxx Female rabbits have a dewlap. It's basically extra skin that grows a bunch of really soft fur that they pull out when making a nest. I'm not sure if that's what you're talking about...?

0:44 I think rabbits hate it when you put things on their back cause one time, I was cleaning my rabbit's cage and accidentaly dropped her waterbottle hook on her back (she was perfectly okay) and she started running around like crazy and ran into my door :( But she was alright, just a little dazed.
@HamtaroYAY I guess your rabbit got scared, because it wasn't ready for the waterbottle. But my rabbit loves to run with blankets. If I hold a blanket up she'll run under it for fun.
What's her name? Ive got a male rabbit called Smudge, had him for almost a year now, and we're getting a female rabbit after the Summer hols, because we hate seeing Smudge on his own! I want the female rabbit to be sensible, cuz Smudge is really stupid lol and i want the female bunny to be really clever
@trylletanja It's more difficult when they haven't been neutered. We bonded 2 neutered males together and they lived in perfect harmony. It was done in a gradual process though, introducing them slowly to eachother bit by bit.

Does your rabbit have this blubber under it's chin? Because mine does, and if you knew, i was hoping for you to tell me what it is called.

@XyraNeoxx She has some ekstra skin under her chin but that's normal - I don't know why but I guess they can use it to warm their front paws. But if it's big and you can see it when the rabbit is sitting up, then it's a sign of overweight. Meaning the rabbit should eat less/more healthy and exercise more.

@trylletanja My rabbit's blubber is nice and squwishi! But in the wild, its actually for building the nest and soften-ing it up with fur for the babies. (The female takes out the fur from the 'blubber' and puts it on the nest)

@XyraNeoxx Female rabbits have a dewlap. It's basically extra skin that grows a bunch of really soft fur that they pull out when making a nest. I'm not sure if that's what you're talking about...?

@XyraNeoxx the flap of skin under the rabbit chin is called a dewlap...usually only female rabbits get it but males can too. it is used to store fat when rabbits get pregnant

0:44 I think rabbits hate it when you put things on their back cause one time, I was cleaning my rabbit's cage and accidentaly dropped her waterbottle hook on her back (she was perfectly okay) and she started running around like crazy and ran into my door :( But she was alright, just a little dazed.
Such a cute rabbit, too :)

@HamtaroYAY I guess your rabbit got scared, because it wasn't ready for the waterbottle. But my rabbit loves to run with blankets. If I hold a blanket up she'll run under it for fun.

What's her name? Ive got a male rabbit called Smudge, had him for almost a year now, and we're getting a female rabbit after the Summer hols, because we hate seeing Smudge on his own! I want the female rabbit to be sensible, cuz Smudge is really stupid lol and i want the female bunny to be really clever

@trylletanja It's more difficult when they haven't been neutered. We bonded 2 neutered males together and they lived in perfect harmony. It was done in a gradual process though, introducing them slowly to eachother bit by bit.
