Dave knows what is up. He handled his own grief and life very well after what could have been a career killer. Foo Fighters are no comparison to Nirvana quite literally but Grohl has done well to make his own mark in a very good way. The Fighters are not so popular that they can't be respected for what their body of work has become. The tragedy with Cobain adds to the legend of Kurt as it has so many others before him who are now forever young in the memories of their fans.

And then he talked and you can see he has a very personal position about it: there are parts of your life that just end one day but you're still alive, and the only way yo can go is forward.

@plasmafoot1 I like the Foo Fighters. I see them on a totally different level than Nirvana. The Foo Fighters did not set the rock world on it's ear and end an entire style of rocks (Glam, Hair Metal) domination of the airwaves. Then, on top of that Nirvana ushered in a new style of rock called Grunge. I have known many decent bands who have longevity but none to have such an impact. Jimi Hendrix was here only briefly but influenced almost everything after him. So, umm yourself.
