Channing Tatum- maybe seeing as he was supposed to be in the halo movie which got scrapped even though 6million had already been spent on it which was like 20 mins of movie i just hope they dont fuck it up and ask steven steilberg to do the movie because that guy is just a nut job, george lucas now he could make the mass movie epic

channing tatum is a good actor for the job because he looks like shepard. but i would rather see christian bale act as commander shepard because he is far more better than tatum at these kinds of movies.

@xXkokoCherriesXx doubt it Nothing has been said about the movie yet they are still debating weather they want a Live action Movie or a animated style like movie just a bit like how Avatar was which I can live with that style :) and Christian Bale would make a shit Shepard I think the only person would that would be best fit for Shepard is what I've always said will always stick to is Mathew Fox.

I am affraid guys that there will be no Shepard in a movie... The BioWare can't make the story on theyr own becouse that would be affecting players. And the choice is the most important think in this game. But Mass Effect would be a god-damn best Sci-Fi ever if made right.

@DannyT994 It a good move. You know so many people have difference of idea of shepard. To many people will be pissed if they do not make shepard in their own idea. Some like male. Some like Female. Some like good shepard. More like evil. So shepard would be impossible to cast with out angring the masses. The movie will be intresting to see if it bombs or passes.

also I do believe I had read the movie will be about Saren Arterius and how he fell to Sovereign indoctrinated.

nah, you need a brit to play Shepard (be honest us brits are much better actors). I say Andrew Garfield, he's the new spiderman and he also was the betrayed friend in The Social Network. HIS BEST PERFORMANCE IMO is from the Red Riding trilogy(youtube it, it's extremely dark and powerful) , I saw this before TSN, and he plays a Yorkshire journalist, the british equivelant of a red neck without the religion and incest

anyone but channing tatum Gi joe was the first thing i saw him in and he had no emottion on his face or voice. but you can make your own character so any one GOOD can play him in my opinion.

Negitive. For the record I don't care if Channing Tatum is omnisexual, I don't want him playing Shepard. He played in G.I. Joe, and I was not impressed with what he gave me.  As for Matthew Fox I just don't think he's (No Homo) man pretty enough, where Tatum is not 5 o'clock shadow enough.

Personally if I would go with Hugh Jackman if he was 10 years younger or Tom Welling if he looked 5 years older.
