@hillarychapman1 Noel Redding was a GUITAR player, not a bass player. Mitch Mitchell was a very, very good drummer. Listen to the ENTIRE Experience catalog and you'll see.
I was honored to see him perform a half dozen times or so and always wondered if he was God because he sure sounded like Him, oh shit, i lost my teeth again
Actually the ganja back then had a healthier cbd-thc ratio than today stuff. The result was a earthier paranoia free high. Although now the some of the medical growers pay attention to the importance of cbds.
@Izzycuddles09 don't bother forcing it on him. My dad never gave a fuck about the music I listen to and that's why I love the music so much. No one even showed me Hendrix, I had to find his music myself and that made it like a treasure
I visited the fair grounds last year they were cleaning it up for b.dylan a nice old hippie let me up on the stage and there it was!!!! the spot burned stage left about a foot and a half wide carved in by his roadie...J Hendrix...now I can die!!!not to menntion Otis and all the other greats...thanks dude..I wont forget you!!
im so mad at myself. once a year in Renton Washington they legalize weed for a day dedicated to Jimi. i literally live down the street where he was buried when my uncle told me and my stupid ass didn't believe him.
Did you see that Jimi commercial running recently? Here is the actual video and audio from that performance, the commercial isn't synched and I don't think its the same recording, might be though...Jimi doing it like only he can!
@experienceadvertisin Its a laptop commercial right? Ive seen it hundreds of times and I saw this before I saw the commercial and it just brought me back to it!
@seeinseamz yes. i just bar the bottom two strings with my pinky on the 4th fret if you are doing it in F and if in F sharp just do it at the 5th fret
Jeez, if I could play like this there wouldn't be an end to the women that'd be lining up at my feet, waiting for a piece.
Jimi was/is the coolest and baddest ass person to have ever grace this galaxy. I swear GOD came down in the form of Hendrix just to blow our minds...and he damn well did and still does nowadays.
what a legend, why can't there be anything like this nowadays? if this was a recording from a 2010 live performance, id be kicking myself for not had been at that performance, i would had walked all the way to monterey, lol. (sorry bit drunk)
a kickass performance ... as were all of his. What a voice, what a way to work with his own guitar feedback, what soulful touching songs. No one like him.
@sirbikesalot My friend, there are many good players nowadays, however people label them as unoriginal wannabees. If it's someone new like Bieber, they shoot him down. If it's someone who tries to copy the 60s and 70s periods they are shot down due to unoriginality. Society shoots down any attempt. It is no longer as accepting as back then.

The art of cranking up huge amps to the max without playing heavy metal and the
courage to be yourself to the max... this is far too big to fit into any kind of category.
