It is Anthony, Cove does the Acoustic, besides Anthony wrote the original (this song) for the guitarist Justin, and it's about Justin's dad that died, on Christmas while Saosin was touring. Mookie was the name of Justin's dog. Hence Mookie's Last Christmas.

The track was not featured on Translating the Name but it was included on a compilation album, A Santa Cause: It's a Punk Rock Christmas. An acoustic version was included on Saosin's live album, Come Close
