Honda Civic Type R (JDM FD2)

One thing i'm wondering is why is it, that whenver Honda creates a really cool tuned version of a car lately, The Mugen Civic,and Type R, it's always a 4-door, with no 2 door Coupe version? Bases off the 8th Gen, the Mugen would have been so much cooler in a 2-door version. The 4 door was cool but I'd prefer a coupe to a 4 door!

ive seen a test with the R and it was like a lil racecar. the suspension was much stiffer and harder the engine sounds more louder and its lighter and has 220hp and a diff. sooo its faster than every stock civic R on planet.

They are the same model except the mugen is slightly more powerful and lighter and a few more body mods but cost like 10k more!

the civic is better than the integra, but the mugen is the best car in the world that can be afforded by the average man..

really? I guess that leaves out the evo, STi, Hyndai Geneses, Nissan 370z, the s200 to name a few which are all relatively cheap considering their performance value ;with stock factory parts. not to mention countless older import models that with a little tuning and care could easily leave the Mugen naked, in the dust.

Hot car. Too bad it's actually quite uncomfortable for normal road use. Though, some people say that they can sacrifice a little comfort for performance (which this car certainly has), you'd be hard pressed to make that sacrifice for this vehicle. It's a fantastic track car, but when you hit the road with it, it is very uncomfortable. I'm just hoping that the 4th generation Civic Type R (sedan) will be alot better for everyday use and will be officially available in Australia.

well since its a racing car it should be hard. u dont want a boat aka caddy,mustangs and camaros.. i own a si sedan and its pretty comfy but i want harder suspension u get better feel of the car
