Agree with Martin Jordy below: on my pretty good system the sound quality is really lousy, and this is a damn shame, because the production values are otherwise so fine.
I particularly like the fact that the intro is in Chinese: we don't have our time wasted by a whole lot of Chinese American teenagers introducing themselves in English and nattering on, in English, about how they are gong to teach us Chinese, blah-blah-blah.
It would be great to see a remake of this with a pro sound tech.
The sound is too compressed (bad) to hear subtle differences in pronunciation. Too bad because the format is perfect for learning (like Chinese Sesame Street, but cannot hear correctly).
