Just a nitpick ... The knife was probably made in the USA, but nearly all Spyderco knives from back then were made in Seki. The only ones that weren't were the Terzuolas, Renegade, Blackhawk, and the Michael Walker (1st version only, and this was made by Klotzli; the rest were made in Seki).

You are pronouncing Centofante incorrectly... it's not "sen-toe-font"... it's "sen-toe-fon-tee" with the accent on "fon"

it's "chen-toe-fawn-teh" the "c" in italian, is only pronounced with the soft "s" when it is preceded by the letter 's' and followed by an 'i'.

the "te", specifically the "e" is pronounced in a way that isn't quite found in the english language... almost a cross between the vowel sounds in "pet" and "day".

Not, being critical of anyone, I don't mind or care how anyone pronounces Italian. My whole life people have been mispronouncing my name.

The knives arent free, you pick a dealer, then the club MAKES you buy every knife that comes out, if you dont you are dropped from the club. Its only a good idea to join if u have money to spend.

Most of the Collectors knives can actually increase in value if cared for properly and not used. I use the hell out of all my knives so I wouldn't join but the collectors clubs get their hands on some really cool stuff. The clubs are good for a store owner as well. Having something that rare in the store increases the stores reputation.
