hey brian, i'd certainly be sorry if I was one of your home appliances - why not give that vacuum a rest? you sound like almost as much of an a-hole as they guys that would actually sell these vacuums door to door...newer vacuums are much cheaper, lighter, smaller and quieter than before. i'd bet your vacuum is a lot like you: big, heavy, loud....oh, well I guess I'm wrong on the last one, you are probably cheap. damn LI...

I'm sorry, but these "newer" Electroluxes, made from plastic, and with plastic attachments, just pale in comparison to the good ole metal canisters from the days when the Electrolux salesman used to come over your house and do a demo. You can't tell me that the vac in this video is still going to be around and working just as good as it does now in 40 years. I have a 43 year old Electrolux Model L that still works just as good as the day it was purchased.
