I am of Mexican descent and Anchal is correct when she said dark skin is looked down upon in many cultures and mine is no different. which is funny considering how people complain of discrimination from the whites yet the discrimination within our own groups is just as disheartening . I for one find beauty is from within regardless of skin color but anymore those who feel the same way I do are a minority anymore. size1, blond hair blue eyes, and a skeletor look today is the epitome of beauty.

@LaurieChloe The video has lighting which makes her look lighter than she is, check out google and you can see her true colour, she would be considered a darker indian not inbetween, an 'inbetween indian tone' would be a slightly dark tan. She has a similar skin tone to me, its good for her to come and show darker skin can be beautiful.

TO: " annienyczzz " : No offense, U over looked so many of Anchal's great qualities that are reflected in this interview. She did answer the question. There are so many details that Anchal could have expressed in regards 2 the behind the scenes of ANTM Cycle 7 that would have been considered as an attack 2 Tyra, but that is not her style. This interview was about Anchal and she stayed true to that. FYI Anchal's start was not on ANTM, it was in French VOGUE with noted photographer Bruce Weber. ;)
