I've seen too many "My Michelle"'s trying to be sung with a "singing voice" style. You can't do it.....not you personally but the vocal style. When our band does this song I use an 80's scream type technique. Listen to Girl School by Britny Fox then Thunderstruck by ACDC. The voice I use is between these 2. If you learn this technique it will get you laid when you do My Michelle. Maybe even a business card from a talent scout. Good luck and keep rockin!
