on what basis is this information valuable? we are inundated by nonsense daily...health tips that are clear fraud, etc. why should one try this? what science is behind it...can you link me to a study? thanks.
@kenfo0 You need to check out Westside Barbell... I am not sure they have any studies, but they will have guys that bench 600 - 700 lbs... Dynamic Bench work is a little secrete in the Power Lifter Bech World... I use it, and it works... You should give it a try... I was amazaed at what a difference training my body to be quick made in terms of the increase in my 1rep max... Best wishes...
@asdfzxcv6901 Thanks for a civil response...terrifically rare on here...but you didn't answer my question. For example, maybe everyone at WB benches 8 million tons and drinks 20 glasses of water a day. Surely drinking 20 glasses of water does not make one bench absurd weights. In the same way, those who bench big weight use many different training regimens...the regimen itself may not be all that important. Any medical-type journal articles on this regimen?
There's plenty of info out there. Look up the studies concerning compensatory acceleration, or you can read up on the testimonials from people who were stuck for many years at the same total and gained strength training with Westside techniques.
A quick google search for these topics will point you in the right direction...if for whatever reason you don't trust stuff unless it's written in a journal, I found some stuff on google scholar to boot.
