I heard the figure was more like if there were 20 billion people and you divided up the earth 50 percent wilderness and live on the rest there would be an acre of land per person, not per family per person, so if a family has four acres how much can you grow say on just one acre? but remember what isaish said the deserts will blossom as the rose does, the antaractic is a desert isn't it? on the mountains there will be an overflow of grain, all this under Gods heavenly kingdom not through man
Can't you see? Listen! Humans are using ecosystem service resources faster than they are replaced or recycled leading to degradation of the Earth's "bank" of savings. This leads to the majority of the world's environmental and social problems, this is something you must understand!

Real science tells us that there can not be overpopulation. The law of conservation of energy states that in a closed system energy can not be created or destroyed. It can change forms but what exists is what has always existed and always will. The planet is a closed system. Einstein's theory of relativity tells us that mass & energy are the same. Humans are just another collection of mass & energy- there can not be too many because there can not be more mass & energy than there has always
@1124eden Actually, you're right about the law of conservation of energy and mass, but that means that all the biological mass in the earth(humans, trees, animals, etc), will become only humans, and what are we going to eat
I say the government wants all of us to be a bunch of hicks with 5 kids to a family. Why do you think there is abstinence only education? (A system that obviously doesn't work) What about Kate +8, 19 Kids & Counting, and the new documentary about babies? And this sanctity of life, not just to point of anti-choice, but anti-birth control
@CrossCreed4800 You're ignorant but you have a point. It is a counter to the new agey nwo overpopulation shit. Or do you think that everyone is going to just stand there and swallow the bs whole like a big dummy? It's a revolutionary idea to object to forced vaccinations, forced sterility, limits on family size, food rationing, government run/rationed health care, etc.
@Mjena23 I appreciate your opinion, but I am really just confused, because I'm not so sure I see forced abortions and many things like that going on in the US. Government health care is a new thing for America and I imagine it will be reversed by the GOP. Not to mention the hold that religion has on the US, which is against so much of that anyway and the Christian religion seems to be forced upon most American children as it is
The current human population is unsustainable. I suggest you watch "overpopulation is NOT a myth" instead and read the millennium ecosystem assessment, 5 volumes of peer reviewed data by 1,200 scientists, economists and experts showing that humans are degrading ecosystem services which provide $33 trillion in free services every year such as pollintaion, water/nutrient recycling, biodiversity etc, if we damage them we have to pay to replace them.
Comfortable my fucking ass. you are so fucking nieve! .355 acre per person... ok well how about roads, institutions, farms, FORESTS, etc. and you are pretending that 100% of land is USEABLE. You can say we arent overpopulated now, but you cannot say it is impossible to become overpopulated. If it were impossible the word "overpopulation" would not exist.
I was thinking the same exact thing while watching this video. On the other hand, we do have the means to build up rather than out. Also, .35 acres is over 15,000 square feet. How many people do you know with apartments that are that big? Logically, we wouldn't expect everyone to actually occupy .355 acres, I think he's just trying to say that we have plenty of room if we wanted to. What he doesn't consider is that "room" isn't the issue, it's resources.
the un claims population will stabilize at 9.50 billion.. by 2050... THERE is no overpopulation.. just greedy men, who want this world for there's only.. we r being lied to. Want more land? Lets stop wasting land by bombing it... They LIE
If I was a super rich nazi swine I would definitely want to keep the number of my underlings under control.
What a dumbass slaveholder would I be, if I let them become so many that they start destroying the planet.
When they run out of food, because they are too fucking dumb to limit their numbers themselves they would finally come for me and my family and plunder my personal food stores and crops.
I would start a war, because birth control gave them too much freedom.
Little children could see this movie and actually believe this nonsense. Therefore I have to say something here:
1.) All really fertile land on earth is already in use to grow crops. Grassland as far as possible is being in use to raise sheep or cattle. What is left is either rain forest or desert.
2.) Feed 10 million poor people today and 10 years later you will have to feed 20 million poor people. To feed them is not enough. You need to educate them and allow them to have birth control.
.355 acres is over 15,000 square feet. The average home is between 2,000-4,000 square feet. My home is under 1,000 square feet, and the lot it sits on is under 5,000 square feet. Four people, two cats, and one fish share this space. So yeah, 15,000 square feet per person is plenty of space.
i think every square acre should have someone shiting on it. what a fucking dumb ass. were is all the material for all of this fancy crap coming from. if everyone in the world ate meat like americans the world would have to be 3 times bigger. it's impossible for the world to live like americans. 2.5 billion people on this planet 100 years ago. u need to be dropped off in the middle of india. you'll be wanting all your shots then. God bless us yes! if God blesses u the world will be like china.
Overpopulation is a problem b/c people do not voluntarily give up breeding. Read a book like the Twilight series to see how zealous a woman gets when she wants to have a baby. It's pretty much like a man getting horny as soon as he sees a sexy female -- quite innate to say the least. Americans *control* more resources per capita, and that's why functionally they contribute to overpopulation just as much as 3rd world families with 10 kids.
I appreciate the facts and stats, but the idea expressed in this vid is rather naive and dumb. The more luxurious your lifestyle is, the bigger environmental footprint you'll have. In principle there is no limit to the size of the footprints b/c there is no limit to luxuries. That's why American kids are so lucky and why people in China, Egypt or India are so fucked up. People do not voluntarily give up their privileges -- which planet are you from?
Sorry my wording in the previous comment was rude, but a YouTube bug apparently prevents me from deleting it and re-posting. Guess I'll just let it be posted that way.
Good vid but deeply flawed. Tell me who the hell is going to want to live in death valley where they record insane heat. Vast sways of land are unsuitable for human inhabitation.
I have seen a similar video for australia but the same thing. 90% of australians live within a 1 hour drive from the cost because the middle of the country is so hostile to human life.
What shame. You're selling phoney health gadgets on your web site. And your comments are utter nonsense. And you think overpopulation is not a problem...
I would love to share this with those studying to be Nurses who try to tell me that there is overpopulation and that this swine flu is nature's way of reducing humans since we have no natural predators! RIDICULOUS! Good job on narrowing the list down to who the predators of the human population are. PS-I had a dream that the vaccine would make me lose my salvation. Scary-stay away from that crap!
Good video, as usual. Im finding that telling people NOT to get a swine flu vaccination is turning out to be very difficult. Bring it up and you quickly get labeled a nutcase. Even after bringing up the mercury, squalene, vaccination history where more people that take vaccines get sick than those that dont, Gulf War syndrome, etc its like punching a brick wall. It's sad to see people around you, some that you love and appreciate practically begging to be toxified by our very own government.
People, the whole .355 acre per person is just to illustrate a point. How many people live alone vs. as a couple or family unit. If you change the figure to .355 acre per 2 or 3 people, now you have a half to two thirds of the land left for other resources. C'mon - it's just to prove a point!
@SimplyIncredulous exactly, it shows that all of the continents can comfortably hold way more than 6 billion and that overpopulation is a bs ploy to cull us making us more easily forced into submission.
Hi Jacques, the sheep will follow the media all the way to their graves. you should check out anutarasamyat's videos. If you haven't already start with the playlist on his page, very enlightening.
I see what you are saying, perhaps I am over-thinking this and arguing semantics, but not all of the USA is inhabitable. Then there is the issue of water and sewage and fuel consumption and transportation. Then we face the biggest of all - jobs. How could we possibly employ the world with no room on the continent for industry or business? We would end up a land of consumers, producing nothing. Oh wait - we already are. ;>)
MsImListening, we are definitely already there :D. Using North America was just an example to illustrate the absurdity of overpopulation. If we can all fit on one continent, how can we be overpopulated? Thanks for watching.
I agree with you that there is enough space and plenty of resources. I'm not sure I'd like to live in your North America which would sound overpopulated to me - I'd like to see plenty of wilderness, open space etc.
I believe there could be a limit to how much we can consume and use, however - despite technology. Look at the bee population - it is said we are endangering them by not providing enough flowers for them. If they go then we'd have a big problem producing food. Good points though
Hey machinenation, thanks for watching. From what I've read it's not what we consume (at least food), its the lack of or hindrance in production. Monsanto is having a huge effect, and my people just aren't farming anymore compared to days prior to the 40's.
The UN thing, that's just something that has to be dealt with eventually.
The North America thing is just an example to show that we still have plenty of room.
I tend to think the issue is more complex than this. Not every square foot on Earth - or even in America - is supportive of thriving human life- the Sahara desert, Death Valley, Antartica, high mountain peaks, etc. are not places to put homes. It's hard to imagine that going from 1 billion to over 6 billion in about one century doesn't cause some resource constraints. The facts about corporate farming and the IMF/WTO infrastructure are alarming though, and the last thought is a kind one.
Thanks Tiger... I agree.. just trying to illustrate the point that if need be, we can all fit into one place. People think that it would be impossible, but look at NY, San Francisco, Chicago, Japan, etc.
So if we can all fit into one place, how can we be overpopulated? The resources are a political issue. I believe technologies already exist that can get rid of oil, but are being suppressed.
Well, perhaps you're right. A personal hero of mine is Buckminster Fuller; I got to hear him speak once when he was alive. He was an optimist at heart, believing we had the wisdom and means to provide an abundant standard of living for everyone (just 4 billion of us then), if we would but follow sound principles in our lives & our design of things. "Humanity is in its final exam," he said, "and we will either provide a thriving life for everyone, or destroy ourselves."
You are correct...the Elites are trying to bring us down to the rest of the world because we use too much...the fact of the matter is that there is more than enough for us all...we need to rise people up...not bring them down....do not believe the lies...
You want better numbers? OK, so you have a third of an acre per PERSON! Most people live in families of three or more and in the US the average household is about 4.5 people. So now, you can give every family over a half an acre and still have half the continent to use for growing weed, er, food...he heh.
bwahahaha.... nice... no need, just keep building up, leave the back yard for the weed...s... or ... uh food. and remember you can always grow stuff on the roof.
I wanted to suggest throwing every bachelor in a single unit of a ten story building with 2000 sq ft per floor and a unit taking up an entire floor. Think of how much space that would save. No, don't think!!! Our gob'ments don't like it when we do that.
Very well presented. There are so many people who subscribe to the over-population myth simply because an authority says it's so. For those who are challenged by common sense, thanks for translating into hard numbers. Truly insane that anyone on this planet wants for food and that efforts to alleviate hunger are blocked by authoritarians, as well.
We could probably have 3 times the population, but not with the throw away society that they promote. It is them that need to get the fuck out. Or maybe we should just exterminate them! After all we out number them by a million to 1
we are one of the better off countrys (australia ) but i cant see to many people in this country giving up there second bathroom to help save starving kids in africa ?..... and you even hear stupid statements like they deserve it ?
... al gore and his cronies have got the west brainwashed !
you don't have to give up anything. Countries in Africa, India, and Asia, and South America, they are intentionally - and the Middle East - being neglected and not industralized in order for bigwig countries - mainly the U.S. - to exploit their economic resources. This is also why some of those countries see massive killings, wars, genocide, and the U.N. does nothing. Ex. Afghanistan. How will the U.S. help transform it if the U.S. is bombing them so much.
i give $15 bucks a month to the fred hollows foundation .... this charity restores sight to third world country people with cataracts ... thats 12 people a year with there sight back ... so i give up money ...and i give up on governments ...but i dont give up ... cheers from ozz
$180 a year restores sight to 12 people?!?!? God bless you for being a sport! I used to sponsor a child through the Christian Children's Fund (now called something else). It was the least and most I could do. Good going on giving up on governments, too. Fuck 'em. They cause more death than the things they pretend to protect us from.
Great video. Thanks! I agree; the overpopulation hype isn't true. My 15-year-old made a comment about the world being overpopulated the other day and I told her that's not true:) She was just repeating what she'd been told.
Great Video! All eugenecists out there plaease take note and offer yourselves if you still believe there is a problem.

Good points though
machinenation 2 years ago 2

Tigerpaws9097826 2 years ago 2
You are correct...the Elites are trying to bring us down to the rest of the world because we use too much...the fact of the matter is that there is more than enough for us all...we need to rise people up...not bring them down....do not believe the lies...
skybirdbird 2 years ago 3
thanks skybird... sadly things are going to change whether we want them to or not. It's how we deal with it that counts.
nwosigns 2 years ago
Agreed...but at the same time we must remember the truth...and pass it on....no matter what...and start now...not after....do not forget!
skybirdbird 2 years ago 2
I think you should come on camera. The words will make most people leave.

You want better numbers? OK, so you have a third of an acre per PERSON! Most people live in families of three or more and in the US the average household is about 4.5 people. So now, you can give every family over a half an acre and still have half the continent to use for growing weed, er, food...he heh.
FCKEVRY1 2 years ago
bwahahaha.... nice... no need, just keep building up, leave the back yard for the weed...s... or ... uh food. and remember you can always grow stuff on the roof.

I wanted to suggest throwing every bachelor in a single unit of a ten story building with 2000 sq ft per floor and a unit taking up an entire floor. Think of how much space that would save. No, don't think!!! Our gob'ments don't like it when we do that.
FCKEVRY1 2 years ago 2
Careful.. they're watchin :D

Sadly we've been conditioned by the inDarctrination from skool and the Idiot Box with all the pretty pictures that make us drool for hours on end.
I believe all will be made right one way or another. sometime in the near future. Thanks for watching.

Don't tempt me... I'm getting close.

you are definitely right - it is about greed and control. thanks for the thought provoking info!

Welcome back sweetheart!
Greed, jealousy, control, etc. Basically, they want the playground all to themselves.

thanks!! :)

We could probably have 3 times the population, but not with the throw away society that they promote. It is them that need to get the fuck out. Or maybe we should just exterminate them! After all we out number them by a million to 1
BarbarianRebellion 2 years ago 2
agree, clearly things would need to change, but the important thing is that it's propaganda spewed by those in charge.

you don't have to give up anything. How will the U.S. help transform it if the U.S. is bombing them so much.

only way to end it is to get rid of all governments, but I doubt if that will happen.

i give $15 bucks a month to the fred hollows foundation .... this charity restores sight to third world country people with cataracts ... thats 12 people a year with there sight back ... so i give up money ...and i give up on governments ...but i dont give up ... cheers from ozz

wonderful ozzman.. I like how you groove :D

My 15-year-old made a comment about the world being overpopulated the other day and I told her that's not true:) She was just repeating what she'd been told.
fal2grace 2 years ago
Thanks. Thats exactly it, people just repeat what they're told or see on TV
