This is a Mrsa infection 100%. More than likely caused by a smaller linoleum or small custom that broke open under the skin, spreading the infection further into soft tissue and then incapsulating. Very common. For furred reference, to avoid a secondary infection, be sure to disinfectant the area first. Scrub your hands extra dilentgently, put on disposable gloves and make sure to make a small hole I.to the hardest part of the cap of the custom. Be sure to wrap fingers in sterile 4x4 gauze

Neglecting this process will only lead to a more serious infection. Triple antibiotic will neither treat MRSA nor VRS. You need an IV and/or oral antibiotic. The I&D procedure should always be preformed by a doctor.

@briansbaum I had an internal pocket in my finger, i could cut and cut my finger but never get anything out of it, I was rough housing with some friends and was hit with a bat in my finger, the pain was so bad i ate enough lortabs to kill the worst of pains. After a few days of the Sack draining under the skin i cut it open and drained it completely. The cause of me getting staph infection in my fingers was because of busting them on my legs without gloves.
