As to Alex's question about why people dont see this as wrong: People don't know their constitutional rights or that those rights are the supreme law of the land and any law that contradicts it were made a law illigitimately.  Second, people have been selectively bred to be sheep over the ages and they will default to a tyranical government that ensures them a meal rather than a free world where they have more control over their own lives.
