the song is about a girl that wishes she was Páidíns girl, however he already has a girl,and so the song goes on to wish lots of bad things on Páidín girl...like sé an trua nach mise, is an bhean atá aige bheith cáillte, really means pity that Im not his girl, and also a pity that the girl he already has isnt dead..it is a brilliant song! i love it! if you havent already seen it check out.."anam an amhráin, Bean Paidin" might give a better understanding! good job by the way!
