I just got a 1990 jetta from my neighbor for free. I fixed it up and its running rly nicely. I'm going to repaint it but can't decide on which color to go for. Obviously black is a popular one but will is not turn out very good if i'm painting it myself. the car also has some body damage. EX. small dents scratches.

@burn552 Work on the dents and scratches , and i think u should then prime the whole car and get it proffesionally painted it will be cheaper if u do the priming and all they have to do is paint and clearcoat

I have had three Jetta's over the years. A 1984 Turbo-Diesel that died with over 500k miles on the odometer, a I also currently have a 1985 Jetta and a 2000 Jetta. The '85 is a base model 2 door that is fun to drive and the 2000 is my commuter car. LONG LIVE JETTA!
