how do you know that the rx7 is turbo? 85 rx7's were non turbo so the chances are this is also non turbo but he may have an aftermarket set up.

Without even looking up specific specs, a non-turbo rx7 of that year makes way less power than the k20z3. Despite the weight advantage, the Si just having the traction control and the higher power give it a superior advantage. Vs a turbo rx7, race is less even. especially upping the boost.

lol, i forgot this was an ep3 vs rx7. would actually be k20a3 which is only 160hp. still has more hp, though.

A GSL-SE with exhaust could take a stock EP3 fairly easily. SE's with a few bolt-ons will run 14's.

Traction control won't give you more traction from a FWD on a launch, just make your launch easier.. the RWD RX-7 will be able to launch harder even w/o traction control. Also, if this is a GSL-SE, it has 135HP and as much torque bone stock, and weighs barely 2300lbs soaking wet, so I believe it.
