@displaylou Yes, this is my first pj, so I have nothing to compare it to. Because of the contrast, I find the shadow detail to be very good. With the lights on is when it would be lacking. But in controlled lighting it is awesome. Watching something last night, I decided to turn the lights down just a little (my wife could still read the newspaper) and it is amazing how it pops off the screen. For the price, you will be impressed.
@displaylou It only lasts a minimal amount of time. AND it is only when you start it up after being off for a long time. My opinion is that it has something to do with temperature. Once it warms up it is fine. I've turned it off and then back on again in a few minutes and it is in focus. If you live in a warmer environment you might not have this problem. From my video you can tell it is only slightly fuzzy. It isn't terrible at all. Once it is fully focused, YOU WILL BE AMAZED AT THE QUALITY!
