@SDMFAnthony01 Dude, Axel Rudi Pell made his name in the eighties with Steeler, and then went solo. I can't for the life of me ever remember him as a vocalist. Face it, you've never heard of him and know nothing about him. You thought he sang but never knew he played especially that well? Get the fuck out of here you fucking Linkin Park/ Limp Bizkit Numetal listening faggot.
@angels77100 I never said i knew very much about him fuck face..i was just impressed at his playing..since he's been on my radar, i have only read about and seen him as a singer..i'm 42 yrs old and i know about STEELER, but i only know that Malmsteen was their guitarist for a bit before going solo..And i've followed Malmsteen since the beginning..excluding Steeler...don't disrespect people just cause they might be ignorant about one artist in metal...it shows what a real asshole you really are
@SDMFAnthony01 Jeez little dude, keep your beard on will ya? Chill out man. One correction I feel I simply must make on your Metal education. Yes Malmsteen did briefy play for Steeler, but he didn't go solo as you pointed out. He joined Graham Bonnet with Alcatrazz and recorded one studio and one live album before starting the Rising Force band. Alcatrazz made Malmsteen before Steve Vai took over for Alcatrazz's second Studio Album before becoming famous with DLR.
@angels77100 yeah, i thought vai took over for malmsteen back then, but was too chicken to type that earlier because i wasn't 100% positive and thought you might jump my ass if i was wrong...lol. :) peace.. sdmf beyond forever.
heya rino waz up bud...ur work realy kix assez..........and o/c this choice of yours ...Axell Rudi Pell is amazin on guitar-they some how remind me of the golden era of Ritchie Blackmores Rainbow-that a hell of a reason for me to give my totaly sympathy to these guys..Rock On, my friend
Eerh, no this one is from Rock City. If you want to hear to Mark Reale(Riot) play his magic on the guitar, look for Thundersteel or The Privilege of Power on youtube.
really sorry,my bad...I just read first sentence and automatically write down cuz I have had bad experience with other guys who were saying bad about this awesome band so I thought u were just another one,but I was wrong...really sorry bro ,thx for the comment
Sure, he aint close to Petrucci,Page,Hendrix but he is way better than Symphony X,Sevenfold, Rise Against Sum 41 or the days popular band.
Axel got pretty good feeling, and speed aint what determines a good guitarist, and Axel is great, but way far from Clapton,Knopfler,Page,Petrucci,BB king, MAlmsteen and those.
There's no way in hell you can even compare him to Michael Romeo (Symphony X). Romeo plays circles around him. Why even compare ARP to Rise Against and Sum 41? It's not even the same genre! Agree with you on the others, though.
@rubank i tottaly disagree i believe pell is a master and Gioelli tries to imitate Soto.listen the first albums of pell or Steeler. H e is a legend, when you were listening TELETUBIES HE WAS DOING METAL!!!WATCH YOUR SILLY TONGUE BOY. AND LEARN FROM THE MASTERS.
Haha, I'm too old to have ever even watched Teletubbies. I'm about the same age as Pell, had my own band back then as well (and still do). Pell is, IN MY OPINION, not even close to being a master. When even some of his own musicians thinks he's not good (heard it first hand). Everyone's entitled to an opinion, you like him, I don't. Quite simple.
Great Version rocks! Great players here love the double kick work on the kit and guitar kudos to you. All the more reason for all the more popular bands to make a tribute recording of these guys. These guys were more a inspiration to the musicians that understood true classic talent than the average music listener! I always thought of Riot as a musicians band. Kick ass stuff!
I understand why some prefer this version as it's a lot heavier but IMHO, the vocals and guitar in the original are far superior.
This is not to put down Axel but just my opinion. From what I can hear. the lead guitarist misses some notes as the original appears to be too fast for him.
Guy Speranza's voice was original and unmistakable. Check out Riot's "Rock City" or "49er" to see what I mean.
I don't know who gave u thump down, but there are people who don't have the same opinion like you.Axel is not vocalist,he is guitarist.Johnny Gioeli is vocalist and I can tell that that guy has the one of the best voices in Earth. That is my opinion, but I think I'm saying that in name of many other peoples who heard at least few of his songs.
I don't know why these guys aren't well know like, idk. Tokio Hotel which is total teenage crap, but yeah, there are people who listen to that "music" too..
riot is the best band ever inthe cd magic there is a song called the eyes of the lost that sounds exactly like a song from the cd the house of the brethern from riot axel is that a tribute to your master mark reale? axl rocks.
Damn this rocks! Real power metal right here! :D
