To be honest Bob, I have learned what little I know from first hand experience, back in 2006 I bought my very first computer parts at an extortionate price in the town near to where I live.. from then I have basically learned from others, expanding on what I know already, then I got a job as an I.T. assistant, therefore built my knowledge ever since. :D

Is it a part time job? Surely you got college n all that? Where do you buy your parts from now? I bought my first pc in 2003 (I think, £600 from purple shirt company, Celeron 1.2Ghz, 128mb ram etc..)

It's a full time job lol, no college at all :D and I buy from Overclockers. co. uk they are very good!

What is the specs of both pc's?

Both are Q6600 Systems running at 2.80GHZ, Each have 4GB of RAM, my main system is running a modded version of Windows Vista Ultimate 32bit (Extreme Edition), and has 2 8800GTS cards in it (SLI) and the other running a 64bit version of Vista Ultimate and has just an older 640MB 8800GTS running on its own. :D

Got about 4 Terrabytes of HDD space altogether, and yes it costs around 15 pence a second for the consumption of power in my room lmao. Just kidding! Hope that answered your question Will.

BTW, those Q6600's should do 3.6Ghz ;), unless you aint clocking it anymore coz you worried bout powerconsumption?

I just upgraded my rig, E8500, aiming for 4Ghz, 640GB hdd, 320GB aswell, both SATA 2, MSI P45 Platinum mobo, got it for 58 quid (OcUK B Grade) and 4gig ram.
