I know that you have headphones on, but.. How do you get the song to play in the background?

What I do is first record myself playing through my amp with my headphones on, then I use Windows Movie Maker with that video, and with WMM you can add the actual mp3 of the song with the video. Then you can move the song song so it plays exactly as you play. Then you can adjust the volume of the song so you can hear your guitar over the song...in this video I was dumb and had the mp3 audio a little too high but you can still hear my gutar pretty good.

I got the sound using one of the effects on my gnx3 by digitech. You can kinda get the same sound by using the amp by using clean or crunch for the intro and then switching to metal or insane, but it is hard cause u want a foot pedal for that rather than having to take your hands off the guitar to switch on the line 6
