A very reasoned and thoughtful treatment of a very difficult and polarizing issue. The abortion issue requires an open mind which Romney appears to have.

He didn't need to tell Mass. voters in 2002 that he respected roe v. wade to get elected. The state needed him then no matter what he thought. They were smart enought to put him in. Duly, he has had to vote on moral issues in the state and consequently now, he has grown more conservative and realized why conservatives want abortions to end.
