Thanks for posting! I found this some years ago, while doing a study of the hymn-writer, E.M. Bartlett, also known for Victory in Jesus! His music covers a wide spectrum of singers, styles, and cultures! I love this keyboard contribution!
My father was a Church of God, and Pentecostal Holiness preacher for many years until he passed. We sang out of the red-backs and this was one his staples. Great post.
Please do not be offended by this comment. I am sitting here looking at a white lady but I swear there is a black lady underneath there! That was awesome!
Jen.....The Lord has blessed you with a wonderful gift. A gift that touches the soul of everyone that hears you. You are ANOINTED! May God richly Bless you.
What's it like having that 122 in the middle of the hall? I would love to have a Leslie dominating my apartment, but I settle for a Hammond with self-contained speakers and Leslie.
Who's calling me a liberal? We believe in "holiness" that's not measured by how long your sleeves or your dress is! "My Liberal Church"? "Worldiness and sin"? I could run down a whole list of "stuff I don't do" and "places I don't go" and "people I don't associate with", and I live that way because of my love and service to Christ. What makes me sick is prideful people thinking that "their" church or "their" way of dressing or living makes them the only ones who will get to heaven. Sinful!
Great! The pedals on the Hammond are made so if you wear shoes and your feet are big enough to cover two pedals at the same time, only the lower note plays. Laurens Hammond thought of everything!Looks like an A-100
wonderful job. really enjoyed it. i noticed a hint of pedal work there. is it possible to see more of how you do your pedal work please? also, what are your thoughts on playing barefoot? my fiance does it often and says she will play no other way. thanks. hope to hear from you.
That is great! Love the way you play those bass pedals and the sound you've got on the drawbars. But it's mostly good because you play great. Very nicely done.
Who would've thought 10 years ago that this video would end up on the internet for 1000's of people to enjoy. Good job! BTW, sounds like you've got your slow motors unplugged in your 147...or is this a different Leslie?
We've noticed they aren't real happy in the old-line holiness churches...they are afraid all the time they will break some rule and go to hell. Want to get happy? "Now the Lord is that Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty." Jesus died to make us holy, no matter what we wear or what troubles we may have!
This young lady's demeanor goes beyond mere superficial happiness to deep joy and contentent. A huge difference. Her performances on this organ brings deep inner joy (and a fleeting superficial feeling of "happiness" to my
heart. Keep on keeping on sister, you are a blessing to me!
Yeeeow, I use to attend one of your liberal chuches and I was absolutely miserable. Now Im one of those old-line Holiness types that you are making fun of. My family is blessed and very happy. I both love and fear God. You liberals can have your worldliness and sin. Take this whole world, but give me Jesus. I'll not turn back. It is a Joy to serve the Lord Jesus in the beauty of holiness. We're living like heaven on earth. Glory to God Forever!
This kind of playing requires tremendous mental/motor skills, hands, feet coordination, etc. It appears that she is concentrating on her playing rather than exhibiting depression. In addition, I have never witnessed a depressed person playing a song like that!! The joy comes through in the music........

I would like to know if jen is blind. She plays wonderful and I just love to turn on her videos. If she is blind, this is more than amazing.

No, Jen is not blind. Her only physical impairment is epilepsy. She has had them all her life. She is however, on medication.
jflowers10 3 years ago
Wow, and she's not using it as an excuse to play for God in her renditions of Christian hymns! God has a special place for her in heaven!
