Messing around with PFtrack

im using the minidv cam dvx - what camera did you use? Have you tried any distance tests? I ask because I have had quite a bit of slipping using outdoor street shots with my dvx. Are you useing an HD cam? Thanks!

@crunan it was just using an old mini dv cam. the slipping wont be the cam, but the track, or how it's brought in to the 3d scene.

How did you create the shadows in cinema 4d?

Would you recommend PFHOE-PRO software to use in conjunction with cinema 4d?

Would you be able to send me a sample file exported from PFHOE-PRO for me to import into cinema 4d so i can learn how it is done before i buy it?

it seems to be a PERFECT track no slides or glitches or anything! but it seems like the boxes are floated like half an inch above the table! maybe lower a sminch?

they are supposed to be floating :-)

how did you manage such good tracking? i followed picturebandit's tut, but failed at it. do you always need lil white markers in your scene?

That was a good track! No glitches, the boxes didn't jump or anything. Nice!

Good tracking and lighting. I can hardly tell the boxes are computer-generated, and I can't see any tracking errors. Well done!

I have PFTrack and just started learning it.
