  • The disappointing thing about the ruling party is that they pay themselves overly-high salary and raised GST by 2% after Singaporeans gave them a strong mandate. The ordinary citizens only get 2-4% pay increment pay year but Ministers get a lot higher increment than most people despite it being a total country effort. It makes people wonder whether GST would be increased again after the election if a strong mandate is given to them when Singaporeans want lower GST and less greedy ministers.

  • Workers Party seem to have the largest turnout of all politically rallies in Singapore during last election. The only puzzling thing despite the large amount of Singaporeans supporting, it only managed one full-privilege MP. What is the logic?

    I see the need for more non-ruling party MPs in parliament as sometimes, it is hard to argue out good arguments ( which are very factual and sensitive ) that affect Singaporeans because of too weak party presence in parliament.
