Yeah its a cool move and all, but as a rule aerials are a bad idea in fights. My first instinct is catch them and throw them to the ground or knock them out of the air. You sacrifice control when you jump in the air anyway, but to attempt some flashy aerial maneuver to impress spectators (That you know will be there watching the fight) is just dumb. Keep it short and powerful! Use the twist in parkour to clear a fence. That's where I would use it. Still very cool looking though.
