@Vondelene The so called "celtic" music is pretty much the same like all other old traditional european folk music's. Only difference is that in most countries folk music was replaced by polka and other styles. Thats why today you hear german peasants playing polka instead of old folk music.
@ulvebonden wow thats interesting especialy becouse since 13th century majority of scholars already agreed that earth is round. I guess they never told that to common people : )
However i have heard that west norway is realy archaic and kept many traditions. I have also read somewere that west norwegians have their own version of standard norwegian.

@Voodoozeko the major cities where much more open than other places in the country.
in the more isolated parts of norway, people still believed that the world was flast untill the end of the 18th century/beginning of 19th.
