He gave up his 10:30 larger Press club room that he had reserved for over a month, so they could all do the Paul thing in the big room, and he could do his 10:30 in a smaller room at 12 noon. Ron's handlers did'nt put him on the security clearance list even though Press club security notified Paul's organizers that Barr could not enter the Club before 11:30am if they did not give clearance for 10:30. Why did'nt Paul's people give Barr clearance? Call Press Club security.

His responses were interesting. He made a good point about how the bailout package is being thrust on Congress in a way reminiscent of the Patriot Act. Hopefully Barr has learned from his mistake on that one.

But he also clearly shows that his understanding of and adherence to Austrian economics is nil. This would have been a perfect time to point the finger at the Federal Reserve and explain that cheap credit is at the heart of the crisis.

At least he tried to exonerate the free market.
