Sorry dumbass, but it's TWO fucking hits. But I wouldn't expect a moron to pay attention to details. Colin Moriarty made a typo, it's actually TWO as stated in the other guides. Along with actual playthroughs of this game you'll see people hitting MetalMan the same number of times.

The first attack takes 80% of MetalMan's health the other one takes the rest, you didn't cheat. But you did cut the footage because MetalMan doesn't move unless you move or attack.

Simple as that.
