  • i'm not trying to sounds like a rookie, but, if you put the T truck on the nose of your board, will this alter your ride at all?

  • would the monkae hangars work well on caliber 44 degree baseplate? if not what cast baseplate do you recomend?

  • @tabblongboarding NO CAST BASEPLATE!

  • at 0:25 is that a bearing ring?

  • Ok I have been wondering this lately. What would happen if you put these trucks on a Loaded Dervish Flex 2? Would it be just absolutely retarted or would just freaking blow your mind?

  • 2:06 basically the best part of the whole video,

  • 1:07 thats what she said

  • Are you high?

  • This guy talks funny.

  • voice is annoying as shit

  • @hhhfhfhfhf1 YOU SIR A CUNT

  • whats wrong with your voice

  • u sound like adam sandler in the movie the waterboy!!

  • 1:10 thats what she said!

  • What are the Munkaes like on the killswitch??

  • GO CANADIANS!!!! WOOP WOOP

  • I prefer my Tracker 219's over these any day :P

  • howcome on the evo the grip tape rolls over to the bottom?

  • If you have enough skills to need munkaes you should not need this tutorial...

  • @jagbem im not great and have munkaes. cause i like the way they look, i got them for $150, and cause i dont want to half to buy new trucks for a couple years. its just like a bike you buy them for looks durability and performance. you dont half to pass a fukin like longboarding skill test to have them. have a nice day.!

  • @kazz1967306 if you got munkaes for the looks you need to shoot your self in the head @themichaelnuckles no sell your dervish and get a symmetrical top mount speed board get way better at skating then get precessions

  • @naptownlongboarding haha someones jelly and i dont have a dervish i have a switchblade. your just mad cause you most likely ont have a job and cant afford it. have a good day

  • @kazz1967306 dude look at the comment again lol

  • That is one stoned dude!

  • I had no idea Adam Sandler was a longboarder

  • really nice setups. all about the raynes and Otangs

  • wouldnt you rather have the threads eat away at the base opposed to the hanger since the hanger costs alot more?

  • hey but the threads of the kingpin will eat your bushings

  • haha, this dude is funny, if all of those were his boards...godamn he;s one lucky mofo.

  • If someone doesnt know how to put trucks together, they dont deserve $300 trucks haha

  • @DoomGoon138 i have munkaes and i got them from a fdriend and didnt understand the whole N,T thing so i found this useful. -.-

  • Damn, way to promote munkae trucks.

  • He did it the hard way. You should put the bottom bushing and hanger in the pivot cup THEN put the kingpin through. Much easier

  • You sound like Adam Sandler

  • @husseltoo haha true

  • 0:23 - 0:28 THATS WHAT SHE SAIIDDDD

  • That's not a cArbon evo it's a maple one with a carbon graphic and there's no such thing as a carbon avenger

  • @Jmoneyboards FAIL

  • DAMN! if i ever decide to rob a place, i know what house i'm hittin first!

  • wait why did the top of the bushings change from purple to green

  • Jeez how much is that carbon evo setup

  • Comment removed

  • I swear there were so many sexual references in this video

" slip it right in there" "its gonna be REALLY tight" "probably a really tight fit" "push it and make sure you REALLY get it in there" "he must like it loose"

  • Get that "kingpin" all the way up@Cuhrispy

  • You sound fuckin smashed!

  • 3:26 thats what she said

  • You guys have some mint boards, that carbon avenger with munkaes and limes is a dream setup of mine..

  • your a standard nut XD

  • You guys are weird

  • are u drunk??? WTF?!?

  • When You purhcase the munkaes, are they sold in pairs or only one by one

  • @pinulaman Pairs

  • @RedRanger525 are these trucks worth it. i was considering buying surfrodz. but then why not save another 100 and get these. are they good for freeriding?

  • @08blake unless your doing extreme DH or going faster the 60 mph most of the time then no they are not worth it it is just better to get calibers

  • @not4useofidiots how good are calibers all around? i am used to randals. i do freeride

  • @08blake check out silverfish longboarding

  • why are these so expensive?

  • @thelongboardinglaxer they are more expensive because they are precision trucks, meaning they are carved out of a solid block of aluminum. regular trucks are made with aluminum pressed into a mold

  • @thelongboardinglaxer Because of they way they are made. They are cut from a block of aluminum in one piece, it allows it to have a lot less slop than a regular truck.. but it cost a lot because it takes super expensive cnc equipment to make them. Even some of the fastest riders are running Randal 180's, i'll stick w/ Randals for a while and save the money for some ceramic bearings.

  • Why are the munkae trucks unidirectional? whats wrong with riding them backwards? To me, this seems like a disadvantage in terms of freeriding... A reason to pick some other precision instead. Please answer! I'm considering buying some.

  • @imoldgregful They Dont come out regardless; however, the reason they are "technically" unidirectional is so that in the event that the axle came loose, they would only tighten if you were riding them "forwards." That being said, I personally have never had an axle come out and I rode mine backwards down a 22mile, 60mph road, And I've always been freeriding them. So, you shouldn't have a problem

  • @RedRanger525 Thanks! that really helps. I'm pretty sure that I'll go with munkaes now.

  • I wish some company would make regular carving/freeriding trucks that look like precision trucks...

  • what would happen if you put the trucks on backwards?

  • @originalskateny123 the whole longboard would suck... you would get wheelbite too

  • @AsiancreationK Fail

  • Well, the threads will eat the heck out of the bushings.

  • Ok, so, I have this... friend. And my friend watched this video and he still can't figure out how to mount his trucks because he happens to have a symmetrical board. How do you mount your trucks on a symmetrical board? Between the two of us we just can't figure it out! What do you suggest? Get a new board?

  • (>_<) I Couldn't stop laughing!

  • hahaha you crack me up! You all must like Munkaes!

  • looks expensive how much did those cost?

  • HHAHAHHA. I think you are my favorite person in the world buddy. Lemmon soon!

  • PLEASE HELP ME OUT

would you recommend putting a cup washer on the boardside bushing(one next to the base plate)? why or why not? AND do you need speed rings on these axles? cuz i have heard they are bilt in on the axle...

  • @DNPapparel

    1. As far as a cupped washer on the bottom is concerned, its all up to you. I personally do not use them, i like the little bit of extra play it gives the truck; however, many riders use them to eliminate what they would call a "slop-bushing" on the bottom. So it's up to you, try both out and see what you like.

    2. Don't use speed rings, you don't need em. The Axels are machined with a builtin speed ring, so you're all set there. I would recommend bearingspacers though.

  • funny as hell

  • iiii waaaant theessseee truuuucckkssss

  • can you put venom eliminator bushings in munkae trucks or are they too wide????? answer please.

  • @theflyinchocolatemil

They fit eliminators. Munkae trucks were designed around venoms, so all of their shapes fit well

  • I am the only one who thinks that if someone got precision trucks should know how to put em together?

Great vid though. Want these so bad.

  • @YEAHBUCKET but if you spend $300 on trucks, then you don't want to put them in incorrectly then fuck them up

  • hahaha this video was hilarious

  • Damn these boards are bad ass but must have been hella exspensive!!! My best board is a rayne nemesis with venom bushings and bear 852 trucks and zombie hawgz wheels

  • @taggerung217 dont drop them through the trucks are to low for drop through and you will get hanger bite, I run mine on a 09 hellcat but i have them top mounted and it feels really nice

  • @crissyykayy FAIL .GMR SHIRT

  • @Thekurtzinator8558 GMR changes lives. you FAIL

  • im pretty sure that these are venom bushings. bUT the colors look faded on them. And to me thats the coolest thing in the world how did u do it?

  • what type of bushing are those guys?>

  • Ninja!

  • PLEASE ANSWER THIS QUESTION!

Ok, so I have a carbon evo that is setup on 50/35 degree randal plates with randal II hangars. It feels amazing and am kinda skeptical about having any other baseplate setup other than my 50/35 degree setup.. How would these feel compared to my perfect setup I have now?

  • Well, I ride the CF evo with standard Munkaes right now and it feels great. Really good board feel and it's extra nice when it's sideways. But, good news for you, munkae will be releasing 49 and 35 degree baseplates shortly, so if you want to hold out, you can expect to see those in the near future.

  • Sick... I'll be getting some in the near future then.

  • yo i got a killswitch and im looking to get either munkaes or smokeys. i just wanna grip my turns hardcore, and i cant decide between the 2 trucks.

    Also arae these trucks 10mm?

  • @captandrummer 8mm axles.

  • @captandrummer GET AERAS

  • "i bet that's enjoyable" hahahha so funny

  • haha i love you man

  • Have you ever used Munkaes on a Firefly? If not, how do you think they'd run? I'm considering buying a pair of CNC trucks but I'm not sure which to go for.

  • I don't get any bite on the KS, with ALL orange venom bushing and flat-washers, check your wheelbase. I don't know exactly how you, nor I, have it set up, but I don't get any.

  • how does he not get wheel bite on that killswitch? i've got a quarter inch riser on my monkaes, with 70 mill wheels, and red barrels and it comes really close to bitting... i had to tighten from my yellow eliminators.

  • Is there any difference between the "front" and "rear" truck? If there is no difference between them, I don't see why they need to be assembled so specifically nose and tail end.

  • ive been told that you put softer bushing on the bottom?

  • It's really a matter of preference. The only reason I can think of that you may want to consider is that the bottom bushing is going to have more load on it. But, like I said, It's really up to the rider.

  • he sounds drunk haha

  • haha thats funny. tested some of these out and they sooo hectic.

  • most precision trucks use bearing instead of pivot cups and have bearing in the hanger as well. I don't get these

  • bears have sphericals in the hanger and base plate but kahas, areas, maguns dont i dont really see the precision in the turn if you use a pivot cup

  • The "precision" isn't necessarily on the "turning" side of the truck. The precision of the truck lies within its construction. In other words, with a precision truck, your axels will be straight and the overall assembly and dimensions are all around more "precise." Having all of you axels straight, in my opinion, is the most important part when riding. Also, the precise fit of the bushings in the cup allow for a much "tighter" feel, in other words, there's less slop.Just my opinion on the matter

  • LOVE IT

  • Omg!! Sooooo funny!

  • Haha awesome video munkae!
