  • COOOOOLLLLL

  • Wow, cool. Very high tech train sex. Ha ha!

  • german trainsex :D

  • sexy

- schöne, ach so geile neue Bahnwelt...

  • train sex xD

  • wie das aussieht !

  • I was expecting the crowd to say "YAY!"

    lol

  • an electric German kiss

  • hi, the movies is excellent, thanks ★★★★★

  • I still don't fully understand the mechanics behind the coupling, what actually happens out of sight ?

  • check Wikipedia under "Scharfenberg coupler" - there you will find the operating mode in detail.

  • Thanks, Just taken a look. Very interesting and very helpful. Never realised there were so many different types of coupler in service. Thank You...

  • that's cool! do the couplers retract behind that red and white cover when not in use?

  • yes, they do. Another coupling procedure (TransRegio regional train) is here (halfway in the video):

    /watch?v=EmzUz24Istk

  • kuppeln die nur in köln zusammen oder auch in anderen städten

  • i love cars,trains and aereoplane!

  • me to

  • all the track in Köln station is standard gauge ???

  • Yes. All 1435mm

  • @dansayeyo think so- there is no tram on 1000mm there.

  • love is in the air !

  • Thanks for video. I too very much love trains ICE, AVE and TGV.

  • Wie geil! I love it, and I love German ICE

  • They have Hydraulic couplers instead of the Janney couplers in the US.

  • Did you hear the hissing sound? I think that means the brake pipes connect automatically.

  • @ Cornrowcity: you are right.

  • Those are cool couplers...

  • AWESOME! O__O I wish I were there to see that!

  • Ho that is fantastic !

  • train sex ;)

  • Germany has it totally together.

  • its me and my girlfriend xDDDD

  • so

you and your girlfriend are ugly :D:D:D

  • It looks like they're mating!

  • Sexy

  • Awesome!!!

    Scharfenberg 4EVER

  • cool

  • Very cool.

  • ice from DB = Deutsche Bahn = german Bahn

  • The whole thing connects electrical lines as well pneumatic systems altogether. The mechanism is locked

and released by pneumatic control (remotecontrollable from the train heads as well using a local emergency handle). The locking itself is mechanical of course.

  • Wow! That looks like a firm lock.

  • It sounds like an electrified lock

  • Awsome

  • Look how solid the coupling mechinism is!

  • The Scharfenberg-Kupplung must hold the two trains together at 320 kilometres per hour. it is usefull to be solid ^^

  • It doesn't actually hold them together, it's job is to make sure both trains stay at roughly the same speed by passing electrical and pneumatic instructions down the train, and any slack in the acceleration can be carried by Scharfenberg

  • Wow! That was cool!
