  • @Romanos82 You can say what you want about blaze. But there isn't one song on the The X Factor album that bruce could have done better. Even live u can hear bruce trying to make his voice heavier wich doesn't make it any better. tho i love bruce's voice in any song whatever it is! Perhaps his voice is simply to good for the album, And blaze's just right.

Virtual XI on the other hand.....

  • This gave me chills...its so good but not as great as the original

  • too fast..

  • this sir is an awesome cover

  • love it

  • unproper arrangement..machine head cover still the best

  • He sounds a bit like Bruce

But when he sings the heavier parts, he got a little Blaze in his voice

Yes, Maiden had the choice between him and Blaze, but they chose Blaze because they didn't want another Bruce. IMO that's good, because if this guy had joined, maybe they neve rhadn't taken Bruce back. Btw, Bruce is still best ^^

  • imagine if steve harris took dougie, instead of blaze (he considered that)...

  • the bassist is fine, its just lighter but faster, thats why it seems heavier

  • they should of slowed down more to the originals' speed, and focused more on the wrath than speed. and I agree with the below comment on the bassist.

  • adoro o Blaze, mas escutando isso me pergunto, onde o Steve tava com a cabeça quando não escolheu o Doogie para integrar a Banda. Na certa que ele estaria até hoje na banda.

  • the guitars ssped up too much to be thoroughly enjoyed, however this is one hell of a song

  • Excellent vocal performance! This song needed a bassist that could produce a more percussive sound, and in general, the song would sound better if they managed to turn up the intensity and fury another notch - like Maiden themselves did. I did like the solo - it fit and refused to slavishly copy the original.

  • @tiphillctzn I dont think its the bassists fault, you can hear the percussive sound in the bass, its just the mix thats not very good, at least in this version, the album version might be ok but you can tell the bass has alot of percussive sound to it, its just being a bit lost in the mix

  • Excellent vocal performance! This song needed a bassist that could produce a more percussive sound, and in general, the song would sound better if they managed to turn up the intensity and fury another notch - like Maiden themselves did.

  • WTF....excellent cover...Rata Blanca made an excellent choice to play with him their last album. Doogie rulez!!

Also, only rest to say...listen to Rata Blanca dudes, one of the Best Heavy Metal bands in the world

  • o melhor cover do iron maiden que eu ja ouvi

    IRON MAIDEN IS MY RELIGION!

    \m/

  • Rata Blanca é muito bom uma das minhas bandas preferidas, mas não é melhor que Iron Maiden nem a pau. E essa versão na voz do Doogie mostra que ele realmente merecia o posto de vocalista quando o Bruce deixou a banda.

  • rata blanca is better than iron maiden !!

  • @guelfo89 Pre-pere to die

  • @guelfo89 and my s#!t has more IQ than you ;)

  • This album cover is stupid Maiden isn't satanic at all!

  • @GhoulDMTeamInsanity It's a refrence to the album name. You know, The Number Of The Beast?

  • Doogie White lost the Maiden gig to Blaze.

  • This is called a Music ....

  • @r34p3r1992 for me this is called art *¬*

  • voice is cool but the instrumental gives the feeling that is too high than it should be,still, sounds good, im not evena fan of doogie and i'm liking this, up the irons!\m/

  • 1-Adrian Barilari

    2-Bruce Dickinson

    3-Doogie white

    ajajaj

  • doogie es increible un cantante de aquellos

  • Stranger in us all is one of my favourite album of all time and Doogie is magnificent in it. great singer and very versatile

  • nothing beats the live version with bruce.

  • @masterpatric07 I prefer album version ;) but concert is MORE powerful!

  • Sorry for you all - I am the lucky one who saw his performance at Rio de Janeiro- Just amazing - thank you Dooogie - Love you ( and Christine ) !!! Friend Betty from Rio

  • shut the fuck up all of you, Doogie has a great voice.

    I like this tribute.

  • I like it this speed!

  • im hungry!!!!

  • Rob Lowe of Solitude Aeturnus/ Candlemass did an excellent cover of this....an i agree it should be slower....

  • This is not really a cover... This is Hallowed Be Thy Name played the Irons but with white as the vocalist

  • Just Listen to Blaze sing this Sao Paulo 1996 Iron Maiden Goes to show you Blaze is Underatted Singer cause he sounds way better then Dougie white and this has been done in the Studio Thats why Steve Harris chose Blaze over him cause Blaze sings Maiden Songs Way better

  • Thank god they chose blaze over him i like his voice but Blaze blows him away live and this is studio

  • guitar solo Sucks as the vocals

  • suckz suckz suckz!!!!!? iron maiden iz de beast

  • He played a kid DOCTOR on tv!!

  • is it just the audio quality on this video or are the vocals actually mixed this low?

  • Pretty good cover, Not as good as the original but one of the better one's ive heard... a Bit faster then the original

  • INHO "Hallowed" is the most difficult Maiden song to sing. And Doogie does it very well indeed. Maybe he should try for the job if Bruce leaves Maiden again?

  • @slavemale2 i hope he wont

  • OMG!!!! i haven't heard this version. Doogie white has a great voice and although i don't like him very much with rainbow, i can't deny that he's got a nice voice and that some of his songs with malmsteen are great

  • Yeah, they are not satanists. Check the pentagram on the devils head. In the satanist pentagram theres one spike that points at down. But in this. The pentagram is upside down. :) Maiden forever!!!<3

  • shut up idiot, maiden aren't satanists!

but i do agree, they are very nice guys :)

  • @icklecat1 iron maiden is kickass mate idk who the hell would say something like that c'mon i bet that person hasnt even listen to maiden i know i have there music rules

  • @davo1193 crazy people who only know number of the beast. or just tipper gore :p

  • いいねぇ!!さすがドゥギー!!!!!

  • i rly like to c Doogie sing aces high ! Doogie is nice singer but no like Bruce Dickinson

  • Maiden should have picked up Doogie instead of blaze. the blaze era proved to be the saddest so far in maiden's history, so bad they had to bring Bruce back.

I don't what were they thinking.

  • i think Blaze caught a lot of unfair flack for his time in Maiden, he is a great singer but the material Maiden was pushing back then was pretty damned mediocre (tbh its not gotten much better since), altho i personally love Sign of the Cross. Blaze on his own in his new band is doing really well and shows off some great vocal chops.

  • @stratod777 i agree with you, but in my opinion maiden without bruce isnt maiden ;]

  • Maiden the best!

  • Doogie White want to play with iron maiden but blaze baley finaly was the singer

  • actually he was applied as singer, but suddenly rod smallwood and steve harris decided to take Blaze. with White they could be great as with Bruce.

  • I always thought Blaze is a good singer, but not for Maiden. Doogie white would be the perfect man for the job. I agree with you in that point.

But, there's another facts. Virtual XI wasn't a very good effort, because the half of the songs was bad, and the other half was worst!!!... Even with Bruce, that album would be a bluff.

Anyway, you made me think ..."How could sound Brave new World, or Dance of death or A.M.O.L.A.D with doogie on voices?......".. I think that would be awesome!!!!!!!!!

  • this is really cool but if you really want to see what Doogie is capable of check out the album Unleash The Fury by Yngwie Malmsteen.

  • check out 'attack' by yngwie as well, doogies voice on both those albums is amazing

  • yeah great album especially Stronghold on it. I almost got my version of Perpetual Flame chosen (I sent it too late to Ripper).

I was disappointed he wasn't on the new album.

  • yeah, but apparantly doogies working on a solo album with craig Goldy from Dio, dunno when its gonna happen tho

  • thats gonna be awesome wasnt Craig Goldy on the new christmas album with Ripper, Geoff Tate and Chuck Billy (to name a few).

  • if i remember correctly, i think he is

  • A taste of what might have been... :)
