This game is pretty shit, but a lot of vehicles, a lot of weapons, a lot of airstrikes, a lot of places and environment makes this game entertaining. But seriously, nuke should be nuke, not any big looking explosion which is pretty weak. And the health system, fall from 40 m, lose 98 health, fall from 300 m, lose 98 health. Those 98 loses very easily, got shot by a tank, but you always get 2 health and you can like the same amount of damage before dying :) I think the first merc is better.

This is a very underrated game. I play on PC (so I've never played the first one) and the game looks like a cheap port for me, but even so it's got a vast amount of activities to do.

The game is free-roam. The game has a destructible world. You can drive cars and choppers and other vehicles. There's a lot of explosions going on. The AI aren't that dumb either. For an average game, they actually turn out pretty nice for me. You can have different weapons too. Plus, graphics aren't that hurting.

Guys get mercs 2, its 5 bucks on the pc right now and i think 15 on a console, it's worth every fuckin penny.

BTW anyone who wants to play this online with me on pc? i saved up like 7 nukes and a hell of a lot of vehicles to use but never got to use them.

What are the effects of these nukes like, when you drop them, for example, on a big city? Do all of the buildings within a 2 mile radius get levelled the fuck out? or is there just a big "bang" and only a few buildings crumble? And also, do you see people getting vaporised or sent flying, or do they just fall over and die? I want destruction on a GENOCIDAL scale. I want to kill 200 people in one go, but we'll probably have to wait till the PS5 or Direct X 13 generation for that.

@ncshuriken BAsically, yes, the nuke does a MASSIVE amount of damage and buildings will level out, i often see people flying in the air when i blow small things up but since you can't stand close to a nuke i dont think it will be raining men, thist game is ALL about distruction, trust me on this one, if you have the game plz tell me i have some nukes to spare :)

I dont have the game but it looks funny as hell so I'd definitely consider buying it if I can find it for a cheap price. And man, I LOVE destroying things, preferably with a lot of pyrotechnics and craziness (but only in games!). Do you remember Blast Corps on the N64? That was like the original destruction game for me, also State of Emergency was pretty fuckin awesome! Both pretty old games now tho

Hey I've just bought this game for £4 (KA CHINGGG!!!), but every time I load the game it gets frozen at the "connecting to EA servers" screen, and I have to physically reset the console (no PS button). The only way to fix this is to disconnect from the internet before loading the game, but what kind of shit IS this!? I've read that everybody is having this problem. So how, THE FUCK, is one supposed to play online old chap?

Its got me pretty pissed off man, I wanna play it online.

Yea WHY, THE FUUUUCCCCKKK do they do that crap in a lot of these open world games? They record the EXACT same line, with about 8 different voice actors.... I mean what is the point. You shoot some guy and a silver tongued bystander splurts out "Good heavens, theres a bloody maniac on the loose", then you go somewhere else and shoot another geezer, and some old lady says the same line. Its the same with Oblivion. I got sick to death of hearing the same old sentence, that EVERY1 seems to say.

This game is flawed but fun. It is rather unpolished and you need to do a lot of tedious side missions to get some decent upgrades, but that left aside, once you get your hands on the goodies that the game has to offer, you will have more fun with this game than with a lot of 9.0 games like Crysis or something.

in Co-op have someone who has unlocked the second part of the map and someone who just started. take the person who just started to the second part of the map and let him out of the car, tank, chopper etc. and he will fall through the map and then when he hits the bottom he will spawn all the way up in the sky. he can move but he is in swim mode.
