@legion999 The laugh track doesn't tell you when to laugh, or that you're supposed to laugh, that's actually a common misconception. The laugh track was invented to recreate the experience of the olden days of watching comedy with a group of people like movies, plays, etc, as well as to maintain continuity, such as shows that are filmed in front of live audiences, but certain scenes aren't able to, such as on-location/outdoors or in ridiculously tiny studios.
