Ichigo didn't get his hollow from Rukia as stated. He got it when he was getting his powers back with Urahara. Remember when he was in the pit and the chain of fate broke, but he got his powers at the last second then came out off the pit with a mask and zanpakuto(a vizard). That is when he got his hollow powers because when Ichigo was dying from the Grand Fisher his hollow didn't take over to save his life like in the Byakuya fight. Also this hollow came out I believe because it evolved.
