Wow, what a beautiful piece, and such a wonderful job covering it! It makes me think of the white sandy beaches of, oh well, never mind, don't get me started.... I'll daydream all day!
This brings back memories of life after WWII and my cousin Marie Elana who was named after this wonderful song. It was a big hit during the big band era.... Love this interpretation! So beautiful... Thank you.

How could a human produce this kind of music. He is he best that I have ever heard.I wish I can record this kind of music to carry with me .Very beautiful.
My brother loved and played this song all the time. He requested this to be played at his funeral-and it was. He passed away March19,2010. Beautiful music!
Wondeful to hear every note so clearly, it's obvious from listening to this that you take a real pride in your playing and you, really know your stuff. This tune Always reminds me of my laste nother, she loved music a lot and this was one of her favourites, thanks for posting.
Now, if you wanna post a few "Screaming Riffs............. : ) LOL
For me, this is best cover out there on youtube. Subtle, precise and emotional playing , an enviable sound on the guitar and a nice backing track. Beats my version in all respects....

@masterrgrajales I am using a Zimnicki 18" electric archtop through an Avalon VT737SP pre-amp, which is run straight into the board, so there is no speaker sound to record. I think I like the Avalon better than just about any amp I've had. Rupert Neve makes a beautiful newer pre-amp as well. The old Telefunkens have a great sound too but are sometimes a little noisy in comparison. The Avalon has a very up front sound, which reminds me of the Telefunken but is clean.
Great instrumental, great guitarist, great guitar.
I've always performed this piece on an equalized classical guitar, in 5th position, A. Your performance of this so beautiful piece equals that of Nato Lima and his brother.
Your Zimnicki's great sound (metal strings?) resembles the Lima's Del Vecchio...
Did you write some method and or music sheet/tablatures? Did you publish some album?
Goodbye from little big, heavily misgoverned Italy...
spell binding tone and technique you really captured the feel of the old los indios recording you are a wonderful discovery on the net thanks and greetings from scotland
I could listen to you for hours just playing that song, it is so beautiful I never tire of it. Your rendition is almost the same as Nato and just as magical to hear how you make such beautiful music with the Guitar. The guitar was my dads favorite instrument and my oldest son as well. I thank God for your talent and thank you for using that talent to bless others. I am 76 years old and I have been hearing Mariaelena all my life. Thank you again
