my dad worked there for 14yrs. He died in 2000 from lung cancer. I was born missing my left hand as were many kids of cherlnobyl. Has anyone heard of any studies done on the kids of uranium city?
And just think. GEET (google free geet plans) has been around for 30 years. youtube search "engine runs on coffee beer" and "engine runs on water/used oil" all we really need is 80%water 20%used oil.
fuck their bullshit people.build your own engine...it is VERY easy. call 601-TRY-GEET and leave a message if you need any help.
Cameco tried very hard to hide the Fukushima incident from the public, a very similar strategy to that of oil companies which is a bit backwards as they do not have that much money. Most likely Cameco's futures earnings estimates are going to be way off as they are over optimistic about the future, the Fukushima incident released 20% of the radiation that Chernobyl released and it is likely that due to Japan’s high population density we will be hearing very sad stories for some time to come.
Thanks for sharing ...interesting that you mention electrolyses as an alternative energy source because hydraulic fracturing for oil gas & uranium production uses electrolyses to fracture wells etc
Why was Cameco allowed to purchase, at an undisclosed price, 550 metric tonnes of Uranium Yellowcake from Iraq, while the U.S. spent $70 million helping them load it and ship it? How important is mining uranium in a people's water if the U.S. is literally willing to PAY to dispose of it? ...and then potentially buy it from Cameco at a later date? This doesn't add up, at all. Something's fishy.
So sad, that money is worth more to these evil "people" than the lives of other human beings and children. Polluting our Mother Earth like ungrateful, destructive children. We need to let go of these modern ways and return to Nature's Harmony. Thank you for your efforts at educating "we the people".
the Green Party: intends to use Irish taxpayers money 600 million euro, to support British nuclear industries building of a new nuclear fuelled power plants. E Ryan announced a decision to build a connection from Ireland to Britain, a British landfall was on its powerline from its nuclearpower in Cumbria.Ryan said, in the future Irish wind industry could sell energy to Britain through the connector.why not spend money on wind energy?
A country that contributes to making weapons can in no way have a good conscience about how many lives it is snatching away..leave alone in far away lands but it's own people. Such ones will not care. Such ones do not have a 'heart'.
Thanks for shareing Josh-beardedyoungman..I'll send this to ashley my oldest child, she went to the iraq war 2 times,1st time she was right in Bagdad, she is now pregnant 1 mon.she was in tents when bombs would blow up every few seconds all day and night. The Uranium i hope doesn't effect her first child,my first grandchild.Lane
We see the vices of the rich in so far from being considered as shameful that some are made honourable.Whence this the rich making laws?Property and money before life...There can be no real freedom while this continues......
I am very glad you shared this video with me. So true of money. It is a shame people care more about money than a living soul. I am glad I did take time to watch this video. Thank you again!
there are alternate forms of making energy and using energy, but these oil companies are big business and also fund governments, as it said in your video 'money talks' we have replaced our hearts with money, sad video, but i m glad i watched 5 stars
During the 1950s, many Navajos in the U.S. became uranium miners, as many uranium deposits were discovered on Navajo reservations. A statistically significant subset of these early miners later developed small cell carcinoma after exposure to uranium
Radon-222, a natural decay product of uranium, has been shown to be the cancer-causing agent.[47] Some American survivors and their descendants received compensation under the Radiation Exposure Compensation Act in 1990.
I heard the effects on the ppl were minimal if that is true the should be compensated and all medical bills paid for for these children we saw. I don't understand it all yet. I do know that as the world tries to progress one cannot know what will really happen until it does some of the time. Like in Russia the Chernoybal Nuclear reactor. In some countries they stillo burn coal in ovens to have hot water. This causes a massive amount of dust into the air. It harms the resperatory system..
It's tough to say cause canada put lots of money into nuclear way back and it failed.. public stood against it and now they say that the tech is safer so they want to rework all the equipment they already have.. We got a little add in the mail two years ago about it, it came with a fake uranium pellet that said "just this produces so much electricity.. nuclear is safe.." was sad.. cause like this shows.. the mining is not safe no mater how they use it to make energy..
Canada is blessed by a thirst for intelligence. I get a kick out of how people pay the 'hydro' bill in Ontario where we pay the 'power' bill in Texas. It's a mobid kick but they can never take away your sence of humour.
Most people like nuclear. Honestly with fission instead of fusion reactors the danger is minimal now, and with over half of Ontarios power coming from this source I don't see any change in the near future other than the creation of new and bigger power plants. I don't know how much exposure stories such as this that show the negative effects of uranium mining on the people have received on the CBC but I m going to guess it has been minimal.
It is almost as if they want people to die slowly.
O the Tv I wouldn't know, maybe on the CBC radio but don't remember. Our local papers and community were talking about it a lot though..
I never worried a lot about the reactors being dangerous, I'm young though so it was already getting labeled safer. Other then the water. I worry about all the money they want to put into it, just cause they put lots in it in the past.. When much less money will get other industries going.
Well then you are more wise than most. People usually have a hard time admitting the limits of their knowledge and that's where rumours come from. I think you are right not to worry about the reactors. The mines on the other hand I honestly had not thought of untill now. I need to do some research as I am assuming there is a drill involved with the extraction wich would leave a lot of dust.
I think the swine flu is BS too. So a canadian company is brought into the USA and they build reactors in Nebraska as these ractors bring energy in some diff ways? The mines have Uranium in them and ppl take the Uranium out and ? I'm trying to figure out how it all works so i can understand what goes on.
Thank you for this video, we are all on the edge of this terrorism... in the name of making money and taking greed. How can this continue, how can this be allowed?
Mother Earth will have her day very soon now, we will be shook off like a dog shakes off fleas.
It is absolutely NOT safe... and they know DAMN well it's not safe! They've KNOWN this since at least the 1940s and it's FAR worse than people are aware! They even injected people with uranium and plutonium as part of secret non-consensual human experimentation projects... that CLEARLY showed a link to cancer... not to mention all the different forms of mutations! Either these are some of the wickedest people alive or they're too damn busy making money to study the history of this and STOP IT!!!
Never stop, never consider anything else than money..money.
I didn't know about salt water..
And here, in Italy, our government is "attempting" to install nuclear ..While we citizens choosed , with a 22 years ago referendum, not to build them and not to use nuclear..Money..money..money......
Big money talks..big companies take over peoples lands everywhere and turns them into their own "goldmines" pumping money out of those people by stealing their possibility to make a decent living as they have before...individuals suffer , land suffers but do they listen??? This makes me sick!! Mahatma Gandhi said "the earth provides enough to satisfy everymans need but not anymans greed" well, he was right but power of their god-money beats common sense and wisdom 6-0!!! Anyways...peace all!
I had no idea it was that bad there. I heard about urainium bullets. There's a canadian company that makes hydrogen tech. that was even on Discovery channel "Daily Planet" on their web site they show they make hydrogen seperate from water with just a little puck of metal that reacts with the water which costs 1 cent each and lasts more then a month, No dangerous storage of hydrogen just water car.. They wouldn't say what the metal was because they were pattenting it. Why are we not even trying?

It should be called the gravity bill.. That would be real depressing to most, This is how heavy your energy use was this month..
Nuclear wastes a lot of water too.. so I guess they can get away with calling it hydro
anyways, the more people are aware and talking about it the more pressure there is to change. ya humor keeps us more aware;)
