  • Omg ray can i lay in your bed?? His body is the best to be an older man and i would marry him in a heartbeat

  • there is always someone working harder than you

  • Ray Lewis & Ed Reed - Canes 4 Life!

  • too bad the murderer lost again to the rapist...

  • I believe that He thinks that God has helped him a great deal as well.

  • ray ray got the best work ethic but i dont understand y he is gettin fat and slow...

  • @1DirtbikeBoy hes not getting fat hes getting blockier with muscle..and slowing down cause of age..the body can only take the severe beating the nfl puts on u for so long.

  • @timtheguy blockier with muscle? get off his blocky nuts you faggot. ray lewis is an over the hill, murdering nigger. end of story.

  • @charger619c AWww someones mad his garbage chargers have no one as great as Ray...WHY THE FUCK U ON A RAY LEWIS VIDEO IF U DON TLIKE HIM DUMBASS!! hahahaha now u can get off my nuts..thumbs up

  • @1DirtbikeBoy

    u can't be a day over 25 then.

  • best lb of all time

  • train to failure its the best way

  • and for those people whos on here that says they get up earlier than him, good for you LOL, you probably dont do half the shit he does in the gym, like I said this man has workout "SESSION" he dont workout once then go about his business, he does it 2 or 3 times in a day!!!, 6 days a week?!?!, come on man, aint to many humans out there doing that haha, #teamRayLewis!

  • @ALLMIGHY100 ok so when you say 2 or 3 sessions a day, what do you mean? do you know? do you know what that means? do you know what goes on in one of his sessions?

  • @Electric1Shadow5 ok, everything that a normal body builder does in a week he does in a day. Lets say you work out upper body monday, lower tuesday, and cardio wedsnday, HE DOES ALL THAT IN A DAY!!!, but he has sessions, mourning, noon and night!

  • this man just dont workout, he has workout session!!!, who do you know that works out 2 or 3 sessions a day 6 days a week??? LOL! a true beast!!!

  • i like how he does double or triple days 6 days a week, and then on the seventh day he just stays in bed like "fuck it" and next day he just starts over again and bust his ass off, thats greatness!!!

  • @unofficialchhs

Ed reed does rays work out so how could he be better and the world is 50%ray & 15%troy p. And the rest is I for got how to spell his name but he is the cornerback for the jags

  • whoa....who else got chills when he said "i like to see my body fail"

  • Funny thing about this video. Before I clicked on it, when I saw the name, Ray Lewis work ethic, the picture shows him laying in bed. lol

  • @extrememan123 Yeah I expected to see some "bed exercises" heh, I mean people can exercise while in bed right?

  • He can work as hard as he wants, his team will never be as good as the Steelers. THUMBS UP FOR 6 SUPERBOWL RINGS

  • @Harrisonpetropolis Ray Lewis exceeds football. He's a man whom you strive to be. He's the most passionate dude in the game. I'm not sure you or I could say that about a team, regardless of affiliations.

I know the Ravens and Steelers are heated rivals but looking beyond that, it's about dynamic players, legacies, playing like it's the last down, every down.

    Ray Lewis lives it.

  • this is such a lie if he did that then he would be the best linebacker ever and laying everybody out

  • @itsmybunny1 wow..., you're realllly dumb

  • there 13 steelers fan that dislike this vid

  • 6:30!!!! only a nigger! Try 4:00

  • if I was given the lifestyle he had when he was young (Hoes, Money, Cars) I would train just as fucking hard.

  • @lynch390 nahh

  • FUK RAY THE WORLD IS 50% LAND 50% troy polamalu

  • @JayZCenter haha i actually laughed out loud. see this is why they shouldnt let people with retard IQ's use the internet

  • @JayZCenter

No, I think the world is 75% Terrance Cody

The other 20% is covered by Ed Reed

and the last 5% is covered by Ray Lewis

  • @unofficialchhs Ray Lewis doesn't need to cover anything, his intimidation scares them all off.

  • @R31104

    Good point

  • He killed a man.....

  • @poopta no he didn't. his friend stabbed a guy in a fight

  • @cademcnown25 Hah it doesn't matter, I hate Ray. He's already good enough he needs to stop going to the gym

  • is ray gay?

  • LOL BRAGGING ABOUT GETTING UP AT 6 IN THE MOURNING!

The day is a 1/4 of the way over by then. Although, Ray does have a better mindset than most others.

  • @SadegoGG at least he can spell morning....

  • @SadegoGG If you're already working out hard at 6 in the morning then props to you. he didn't say he's all great because he can wake up at 6, he said he's in the gym WORKING at 6, that's dedication.

  • EVERYONE respects ray lewis but we'll be able to appreciate him that much more when he retires from the game and we can fully realize how great a player this guy was and is

  • "i don't train for reps, i don't train for time, i train to see my body fail" true shit

  • Thats how you do it, push yourself to total muscle failure and thats when you get jacked. No wonder Ray Lewis is still the most beastly linebacker still in the NFL today.

  • damn that just inspired me to train harder

  • was that rod woodson at 0:36?

  • @EWGFus3r ya...

  • @EWGFus3r yeas it was

  • @EWGFus3r yea and Shanon Sharpe

  • I find it funny the video says work ethic and theres a picture of Ray Lewis laying in bed lol. Go Ravens.

  • @SurgeonGen3ral he said he "likes to work so hard that he has to stay in bed all day" that`s why that part was on there

  • i watch one of these ray lewis clips before hitting the gym, inspiring

  • this man is amazing, i love ray lewis, dudes mesmorizing to listen to and watch

  • Yep...people don't realize how essential a special diet is for these guys....Your eating habits can be the determining factor as to how long your body lasts in the league...The wrong foods can deteriorate your joints and tendons quicker than anything...Sugar, fried over processed foods, red meat, sodas... stuff like that will end you..These guys eat clean.. baked chicken, turkey, fish, steamed veggies, salads..Not to mention high quality protein drinks and supplements..

  • Miami BLOOD. BEAST

  • that titans game defined his carrer.

    a true warrior

  • OMG! from 0:25 to 0:30 those guns on ray!

  • It's cool to see 3 hall of famers working out together at around 30 seconds

  • Check me out benchin, runnin a 40 and playin left tackle

  • pretty inspiring

  • What's amazing about him and Ed Reed and other players like them isn't simply that they work so hard all the time but that they can do it and keep from breaking down. I guess they rest when they need to and they must have superior eating habits but still Ray's into his second decade in the League and he's still a beast. And Reed is going to be the best safety of all time in the next couple of years.

  • Well Reed is hinting at retirement as of what I heard today. Im sure Ray will talk him out of it, I'd hate to see Reed retire without a ring on his finger or not having a shot at the superbowl. IMO honest opinion I felt like last year was their only shot.

  • anything is possible with the ball in the hands of ray rice, and the leadership of ray lewis. amen.

  • he better do it quick, cause he's thinking of retiring soon.

  • @esteban0321 ed reed retired this season, but is still one of the best safeties

  • @Federico0nthetube no he didn't

  • @esteban0321 i doubt it bro, hes hurt all the time.

  • @esteban0321 ??????????? ed reed "can do it and keep from down" ???????? that dude is hurt and off the field as much as bob sanders

  • wasn't ed going to retire?

  • @esteban0321 there's 1 safety that stands in ed reed's way as the greatest of all time..troy polamalu, and no i'm not saying this because i'm a steelers fan, i'm saying this because that man is an animal. he can cover, he can pick it off with his nice hands, he can tackle anybody. ed reed can cover, and he's got nice hands, but his tackling ability has always been a question.

  • @broc92592 wtf ed rocks the shit outta people

  • @broc92592 ask knowshon moreno if ed reed can tackle

  • @esteban0321 they are both great football players but Ed Reed has never been as good as Ronnie Lott

  • @ksmith798 i agree qbs avoid ed reed...but everyone else fears ronnie lott

  • rowing isn't a sport

  • and miztablue..

he didn't put anything on youtube.. beyond the glory did a documentary on him and someone recoded that part and put it on youtube..

and hes one of the best ever by anyones standard and a future hall of famer for a reason

  • lol i was looking at that whole conversation about rowing and all that.. its so funny

did anyone even realize he said "I LIKE to stay in bed the whole day because im that tired from working"

and in his business he does work harder than anyone else..

and training from sport to sport varies so you dont compare...

and no l.t. doesn't work harder.. tho he still works his butt off

  • Prettyboy shut the fuck up you faggot.

  • that video makes me want to smash fucking weights.

  • "i train for failure"

LT works way harder than u buddy. fuck linebackers Tailbacks run the sport bitches :)

  • are you kidding me

  • that's why he had such an amazing year, right? oh, wait.

  • for an old man? yes, yes he DID have an amazing year.

  • i was replying to ekent52 about l.t., dumbass. i know big ray had a great year.

  • this is it... right here.. the train for failure and never have to worry about succes.. train train train ! ;)

  • fuck your gay rowing sport

  • lol good speech lol

  • in the words of a wise man "winning an online fight is like rinning a race for retards, even if you win, your still retarded" lol

  • Haha agreed. I was just playing devil's advocate- wanted to see if he'd continue to respond in hyperbole.

  • also one last thing is that injuries in football are much bigger than in rowing, in rowing i can see a torn muscle ect. but in football people break bones, some people walk off the field crippled for life. but thats unrelated to the argument

  • now does that all make some sense?

  • im not tryin to say that rowing isnt an intense sport with a lot of physical torment. It probobly is torture, especially scence i ran a half marathon once and threw up at the end, which probobly doenst even match up to rowing. BUT ray lewis has a bigger role than you might have not only to an NFL Team but to thousands of fans. His highest prioraty is to STAY HEALTHY. somedays he needs that day in bed or that day of film to recover and make sure hes there for the team, and the fans.

  • Also he sits in bed all day to make sure hes ready for sunday because unlike the PUSSY sport of ROWING. millions of people watch him every sunday. so if he takes that extra practice and isnt at the TOP of his game on sunday, thousands of people will be dissapointed. Plus the fact that his entire team relies on him to be HEALTHY!! You on the other hand play a sport no one really pays attention to, sure you can work just as hard as ray, but he has justification to sit in bed all day.

  • Pussy Rowing?? your an idiot

  • ok, lets say ray had a really tough practice or game, he was giving it his all and hes a little inured, he might have gotten tackled the wrong way or might have sprained something, either way he has to make sure hes ready for sunday because he is one of the biggest players on the team. so he NEEDS that day in bed, not only to let his muscles recover, but to let his PHYSICAL INJURIES recover like sprained body parts, dislocated body parts ect.

  • lol axels a fag....talkin about rowing, rowing isn't football motherfucker, you can not compare the two...nobody gives a fuck how great of a rower you think you are, until you do something and end up on ESPN or win a major medal one of these days you can't compare yourself to anybody, especially ray lewis....so many punks on youtube shit is ridiculous, little pencil necked know-it-alls...

  • Oh and Vikings, in case you're wondering Axel- were notoriously BIG. So you're not training as hard as an ancient warrior are you? No. So what makes you think you're training as hard as a professional athlete who must outperform OTHER professional athletes in a modern arena? You aren't. Are you at the Olympic trials yet? If not, then you aren't even world class- which this guy is. Besides which- this guy works on his own- YOU work in TANDEM with a team- period. Like I said- NO CROSSOVER.

  • you obviously know nothing about rowing its different from how the vinkings did it. My training is a lot more intese than the vikings they were just keeping the boat moving while im trying to wear myself out in 2 hours. Did you live back in the day of the vikings? No. You dont know what the fuck they did and you dont know what i do idiot. For most of the year i do work by myself in the single with no coach and little guidance so your wrong.

  • 250km a week of intense training and racing not to mention weights is probably a bit more than ray lewis. Im just saying hes being melodramatic about having to stay in bed all day. Stop watch the discovery channel and then thinking you know everything because that shit is often inaccurate. Look im done talking about this y'all are going off subject and its pointless. Peace

  • I thought the point was that you were tougher than Ray Lewis...? I mean, you don't get that sore right? That means you aren't working AS HARD!!! I've trained for Strongman where I cant get out of bed the next day so I know what I'm talking about. It means you pushed yourself to the damn limit. And I'm a personal trainer with lots of years of experience in functional sports specific training so I know what I'm talking about. ANYONE can get that sore IF they train hard enough and TO FAILURE!

  • Haha please man. You do not train as hard as Ray Lewis. Period.

  • not many can train as hard as Ray Lewis.

  • @BigAndo21 I DO!

  • My guess is, you are full of shit. You train so hard, yet you have time to brag about how tough you are on youtube to a bunch of strangers and be all butthurt because people dont believe you.

Either way, youre a fuckin loser.

  • @MiztaBlu

say that to his face thanks :)

  • if you said you trained as hard a Ray Lewis... then shouldn't you be in bed too? if you're not, i guess you didn't train as "hard" as he does. but the term "hard" is all relative these days.

  • AxelPRC get back to me when you're 35 and you're making nfl players in their prime look bad.

  • SHUT THE FUCK UP AxelPRC

  • why is it when they talk about the ravens in like a documentary or something they always play the titans?

  • that is such a great fucking line "i train for failure" good motivation

  • yall motha fukkaz got a hole lot of shit to say..bout this man do you really think he mad cuz u think he a bitch? hell me might think the same about you..hell you talkin shit on you that man out there gettin money. shit dont metta to him that he lost a game he still get paid n full n all you got is a comment on youtube on a video that waz made about him that you looked at...so who really iz the bitch n thiz case?

  • is that rod woodson at 0:34

  • Yep. and Shannon Sharpe. Good ole days.

  • And what have you done with yourself? He can stay in bed a whole day because hes an NFL player, you are? :)

  • This guy is a baby? Well lets put pads on you and we'll have you two run as fast as you can and we'll see who ends up on the ground.

    It would be you bitch.

  • i agree that he doesnt need to spend the rest of the day in bed. Your muscles can be absolutely fucked but you can still stand up but you look like a dick, he can afford to sleep for the rest of the day because hes making millions. I train twice a day 6 days a week for my sport and i can still get through a day without going to sleep no matter how much i want to

  • You're not a professional, and you row.

  • im semi pro and i train like a professional. Yea i row, its one of the toughest if not the toughest sport you can do. I do 250km a week in peak season along with weights. Boxing, Rowing, Cycling and cross country skiing are the toughest sports you can do not football. Ive done lots of sports in my life and hands down rowing is the hardest of them all. 5:30am trainings 6days a week and then 6x 5:00pm trainings a week football players cant hack that. If you have ever rowed you would understand

  • You've played lots of sports at semi/pro level, including training and the actual part where you play the games?

  • an all out 2k rowing race expends more energy than playing back to back basketball games. Do deep squats for 6-7min of your own body weight doing 38-40 every minute and you might have an understanding of how your legs alone feel during a 2k race. Now imagine that pain throughout your entire body, your arms, your legs, your arse, your feet are all completely full of lactic acid. You have tunnel vision everything is spinning and you have a pounding headache.

  • hah yea hes in the nfl and u arent u pussy

  • Your heart rate is in the 190bpm range for 6-7min. And the worst part isnt even during the race its the moments after it when the focus and adreniline is gone every part of your body is telling you this was a bad idea. You cant escape the pain all you can do is live through it. Your legs give way when you try to walk and your heart rate doesnt go normal for 2 hours NO SHIT. You dont know pain if you havent done a 2k erg, been severly burnt or given birth naturally

  • good good you great hopefully your going to make if not well then axel i have some news.

IF you trained as hard as im why arnt you as good or strong as him

  • hmmm lets see. Im 19years old, hes 20kg heavier than me, he trains for explosivness while i train for endurance, he has personal nutritionists and trainers monitoring everything he does. Im not arguing that he isnt brilliant im just saying for him to say that he is sooo sore he has to spend all day in bed is bullshit. I work as hard if not harder than him and I can still make it through the day while getting an education, its hard but manageable. Hes just being overdramatic

  • ok, well lets start with the fact that he trains the same hours you do probobly, and while your sitting in a desk while ur mucles recover, he is still training, so he probobly trains a significantly larger amount than you do see that his whole carrer is football. plus while ur sittin ur pussy ass in a rowboat and movin ur arms and legs, he is constantly getting hit and hitting, so not only is he exhaused from hard work, he is hurt from getting plain ole' hit!

  • its OK your obviously very ignorant an obviously have never rowed. He just said he spends all day in bed did he not? so wtf are you talking about him training while im not? Look im not saying he doesnt work hard im just saying for him to say he has to spend all day in bed because hes soo tired is bullshit. This has gone completely off subject

  • Okay, let's strap 20kilos of extra weight on you and have you do the same thing... we aren't talkin about relative strength here. There's no way you can work as hard as him. You can work hard for YOU but they are DIFFERENT sports! Crossover between sports is NOT applicable here. You use water resistance. He uses people. How similar are the two? Also, you don't train as hard as a viking rows... have you ever rowed for four days straight without sleep? No? Then stop talking yourself up!

  • give me 20kg of muscle and ill probably be worse but i will still be able to do the same work no doubt. Crossover between sports in applicable, I dont just row i run, do weights, cycle etc... What are you talking about with your viking shit that was completely irrelivant and its impossible to stay awake for 4 days straight retard

  • Vikings are relevant to you because they were the extreme version of what YOU do. Tell me, how long do you think it takes to row from the southern coast of England to Iceland? They hopped islands- meaning they ROWED all day and night, and when they hit an island in the way, they carried that boat on their backs to the next port and then rowed again. Are you training as hard as that? To be able to do that for days on end? The fact that you don't see the comparison makes you ignorant.

  • rubgy does require a lot more endurance and conditioning however football requires a lot more intelligence and awareness (of the game) because of the way the games are structured (football being stop and go, having to read plays, call audibles etc. rubgy is more of an instinct game)

  • agree and im from a rugby country

  • well considering my friend is a 6 time heavy weight bodybuilding NPC champion I figure he works pretty hard..plus works 6 days a week

  • I like how he says I get up at 6:30..big fuckin deal..my gym opens up at 4 am..I get up at 3:50 6 days a week and one of my freinds who is a personal trainer has to get up at 230am 5 days a week to be at the gym by 330 am....I wish I could sleep till 6 or 630!

  • You dummy. Pro athletes do this stuff all day. That is until 5-8pm. So if he is getting up at 6:30am to work out, then he is preparing above and beyond a HUGE day. You probably get up at 4am but then go work a job the rest of the day. Which means he is pushing himself all day while you only do it 2 hours or so. PLUS he works harder than you do. The point isn't the time, it is what is put into the time. Waking up at 2:30am means nothing. Working like Ray Lewis does means something.

  • I played football in high school (receiver) and rugby in college (winger) and the only difference is conditioning. Football is about 10-30 seconds of actual work between downs, then you get time on the bench when the offense or defense or special teams get on the field. I used to hate two minute drills because you get no time to catch your breath, but then I played rugby where each 45 minute half is a 2 minute drill and I realized that football players require way less endurance period.

  • im from the uk. yeh ive played rugby, (fly half) but now i play for my local american football team. and trust me, i play running back, and the hits you take playing american football hurt a hella more than they do in rugby. when that helmet hits your chin....fuck it hurts

  • cant compare that to geting stomped on the head with those huge metal rugby cleats, ive played both too(linebacker) (outside centre) and for me rugby has shown me the true meaning of pain

  • i was talking about getting hit, but yeh i admit it hurts when people stomp. but getting stomped on the head hardly ever happens, you get kicked in the head but it doesn't hurt too much. iv'e only ever got stomped on my feet and rib.

  • Dude, pro rugby players are beasts, they have insane work outs and have gross diets to build body mass, not so much for being stronger, but for protection, it's like they're building pads of muscle. Seriously watch a game and look at their necks

  • I think football players are heavier than rugby players because rugby asks for more conditioning than football

  • yeah.. i know both sports very well and i think that if u were to compare the biggest dude on a football team with the biggest dude on a rugby team, the rugby guy might be smaller, but he would be waaay more fit, maybe even stronger, cuz the biggest on the football team would be just fat

  • when playing rugby you are running the whole time up and down a field while youre getting brutally attacked with no helet, no pads, and often without substitutions, that is unless you get your arm ripped off

Rugby is the most badass sport in the planet

  • actually they did an experiment of which player hit harder, Rugby or Football players and football players do hit harder, a lot of hits in football are considered illegal in Ruby. If players don't wear pads, HMMMM your basically asking for death than.

  • yeah thats true, i think i saw that documentary too, but man if we saw the same thing you should know that a rugby player gets tackled a fuckload more at a game than a footbal player

  • yeah, that's true. Rugby players do get tackled way more, and play both offense and defense, there probably better conditioned than football players.

  • id take julius peppers, ray lewis, brian dawkins, adrian wilson, bob sanders any day over any pro rugby player. nfl players are stronger and faster. period.

  • have you ever heard of Jonah Lomu? 6ft 5 260lbs and ran 100m in 10.6, I dont know of anyone in the nfl that is as tall, heavy and fast as him. But in general YES nfl players are faster and stronger but thats because they train for explosiveness because a play usually only lasts 5 sec at best. Rugby players need to train for aerobic and anarobic, their concern isnt so much how much they can bench or squat for 1 rep.

  • lomu was a great rugby player the best wing that will ever play but ray lewis is also a great linebacker he may not be the best linebacker of all time but his definatly up their and if his job is to put someone on their ass hill do it.

  • You're right...Rugby tackles are not real hits, they're more like wrestling takedowns because you have to hold your opponent till the ground. Football player are more hardhitters

  • yes nfl does hit a bit harder because you can just sholder barge them and various other reasons. Look at Rugby League their hits a closer to nfl but still not the same

  • 2 things id like to see

-lesnar take a full speed tackle from ray lewis

-a player from soccer football basketball or any other sport, try and play a rugby game

  • you are all idiots, arguing about which sport takes more conditioning, and who could take who out, you need to be conditioned differently for every sport....ray isn't taking out brock lesnar in the pentagon but brock lesnar could not even step to ray lewis on a football field, the sports are all DIFFERENT and therefore non-comparable....jackasses

  • brock lesnar almost broke into the nfl but his skill were too raw

  • RAY RAY

  • Hey lets whine about which sport is tougher, cause we have no social lives!

    Losers

  • "See I don't train for reps, I don't train for time, I train for failure." -Ray Lewis

  • what's this from?

  • No 1 cares about any1's opinion on here, so stop arguing about which sport takes the most conditioning... MORONS

  • this is what UFC fighters do... train 4-6 weeks before a fight like NFL PLAYERS train all offseason and then take it easy after the fight.... NFL players especially train all the time. thats athletic.any bum can go off the streets and knock a guy out. kimbo slice anyone? but i bet you any money kimbo aint having a chance in the nba/nfl/soccer... at all. why? because he is not an athlete. strong? ya. athletic like ed reed or lebron james? no way.

  • MMA alot harder to train for than football MMA cant do football and football guys cant do mma. MMA training more cardio related and football power lifting. and by the GSP trains everyday of the year

  • and to the guy that said UFC fighters are first, lets look at their training regiments. they train extra hard before fights and usually have 2-3 fights a year depending on the schedule. if they train hard 6 wks before that means they train about 4 months excessively a year. considering that athletes like football & basketball players don't have the time to strictly work out it is obviously them who are more conditioned to do what they do. 6 mos of basketball and 2 offseason mos of training...

  • ok to be real in terms of conditioning the #1 sport is soccer. 90 minutes with hours on end of practice in sweltering heat on a massive field. thats conditioning. 2nd i would say NBA or basketball in general. 48 minutes may seem short to the 90 soccer minutes but if you are a starter you probably play 30+ or 40+ minutes a game. considering its a 82 game season, you play back to backs, 5 games with a day in between... thats conditioning. 3-football(no explanation needed).

  • most conditioning to what? kick a fucking ball? please get the fuck outta here..... soccer sucks.. and a kenyan can play soccer cuz they famous for running long distances

  • idiot i bet you ANY MONEY a ufc fighter can't run 90 minutes up and down a 100+ degree field and kick a ball nevertheless complete it. none of them can also play 82 games a season in the NBA either. but i bet you any money that an NBA PLAYER can transition to MMA and be pretty successful (the whole PORTLAND TRAILBLAZER team does MMA... no fucking coincidence)

  • ufc is a bunch of pussies

  • ur a racist bitch and ray lewis would fucking kill you if he knew you said that. go to hell

  • lol

  • ha ha!!!!!

  • i say in condition like toned its boxers soccer and then basketball after that football

  • na basketball is ahead of soccer
