The first album i heard from her was jagged little pill, which is awesome.
However, say what you want, I still think that this early-90s-popshit suits her better than the melancholic, depressed mood of JLP (except for You Oughta Know which is a masterpiece).
Anyway, songs on JLP were also not written by her (but mostly by Glen Ballard, so THAT album is an "outsourced material" again :)
She was probably having an identity crisis back then, but remember that it was all these experiences and unfitting music genres she tried out that helped to smoothen out her experiences and eventually develop an album, a genre and a style that was true to herself, i.e. the Jagged Little Pill and henceforth era.
That is hilarious! She's cute. But how old is she 15? Her voice of course is wonderful, but that style and music thank god she kicked to curb. If that 1991, that's only 4 yrs before Jagged. What a major improvement in four years!

Thing is, in that particular bar, in that particular town, at that particular hour, it was a hot bed of FBI, undercover cops etc. I can't remember if that was the nite Al was searching all the bars for Cher who went missing??? U can catch a glimpse of Alanis at the end of one of Cher's songs. Black Magic I think as Al composed a song for Cher and well, I guess we all found her...rite...by the sad look. Hmmm? Needed the money? Have to think about that one?

The first album i heard from her was jagged little pill, which is awesome.
However, say what you want, I still think that this early-90s-popshit suits her better than the melancholic, depressed mood of JLP (except for You Oughta Know which is a masterpiece).
Anyway, songs on JLP were also not written by her (but mostly by Glen Ballard, so THAT album is an "outsourced material" again :)

She was probably having an identity crisis back then, but remember that it was all these experiences and unfitting music genres she tried out that helped to smoothen out her experiences and eventually develop an album, a genre and a style that was true to herself, i.e. the Jagged Little Pill and henceforth era.

That is hilarious! She's cute. But how old is she 15? Her voice of course is wonderful, but that style and music thank god she kicked to curb. If that 1991, that's only 4 yrs before Jagged. What a major improvement in four years!

omg, I have never seen this before! I love alanis but this is not good. Compared to her later music, its kinda terrible and funny too. However in terms of pop music back then, its kinda good. lol
