Now Eagle 93.7 and running a satellite-fed Adult Contemporary format.
When did QIO switch over from CHR to AC? I have picked the station up in the metro Detroit area several times, first in 1994, by which time they sounded like they were doing Soft AC with very laid-back imaging. (Interesting, I also picked up 94.3 WDIF that same day.)
@Superbook4Eva --- I became General Manager (and Saturday Morning DJ) in the fall of 1986. Shortly thereafter, we unplugged the Transtar satellite feed and began live CHR. This lasted until shortly after I left in early 1989. At that time, I moved to WYHT FM.
Mike - you had a great radio voice on your various stations - liked the old picture of you on one of your other airchecks (WDIF) - you still have that great voice.

@Airchecks Thanks for the replies Mike. You sounded excellent on all three stations you have posted here (WQIO, WYHT and WDIF).
