That is an incorrect understanding - although there is one God, according to scripture, he expresses himself through 3 persons in perfect unison. We have two hemispheres, for instance, that unite in our form - so in us, two equals one. First, let me say that you can never have a decent knowledge of Scripture if you randomly pull out verses as "proofs." The Bible often refers to itself, and if you don't understand certain concepts you won't be able to understand verses. Keep this in mind, please.
Jesus was not saying that He was inferior to God, He was saying that He is subject to God's authority. At the same time He says this, He is saying that He is equal with God...
1)Jesus says that He is under God's authority several times. When, He says that God is His "Father" He is saying that He is subject to God. (A son is subject to his father's authority, is he not?)

Nice. Never heard a Muslim talk so much about Jesus. As a born again Christian, I do like to listen to different interpretations about the Bible. The Holy Spirit helps me discern if the message contains anything valuable. Green makes some valid points. Somethings are, well.... sketchy. Paul, for instance, was more aimed at setting the Gentile churches on the path of following Christ. That would have been quite a task. He was killed because of it. Peace.

monotheistic, how could God have chosen a people that were not in existence. Abraham wasn't an Israelite and neither was Isaac, It wasn't until after Jacob that Israel came to be. I mean I know Christians are not perfect far from it but, then again I do not see them running around blowing up mosques or walking into crowded markets with bombs strapped on their bodies hoping to take out as many people as possible. That is an incorrect understanding - although there is one God, according to scripture, he expresses himself through 3 persons in perfect unison. We have two hemispheres, for instance, that unite in our form - so in us, two equals one. Jesus is not the the father according to the Bible, nor is he the spirit, yet they exist equally for one common purpose - salvation. Thus when Christians baptise - they do so, through 3 forms - father, son & holy spirit.

The Messiah must be physical descendant of David (Romans 1:3 & Acts 2:30).Yet, how could Jesus meet this requirement since his genealogies in Matthew 1 and Luke 3 show he descended from David through Joseph,who was not his natural father because of the Virgin Birth. Hence, this prophecy could not have been fulfilled.

If he has already paid the price in full, does it really matter if we don't accept the gift, which is a sin apparently because according to Chrisitianity, by not accepting the gift we will not be saved - something only sin can bring about that, unless God is cruel which you say isn't the case.
So it makes no difference if we accept the gift since the rejection of the gift has already been counteracted by the nature of the gift.
I discourage sinning, but it's all about logical reasoning.

The apostles would have considered what you said heresy (minus the second and last one). Again, all that is said is that Jesus is subjected to God's authority. From that YOU conclude that He is not divine and less than the God. The apostles never said that.
Also, if you believe that Paul were saying that. He would be contradicting himself, because he says in Philippians 2:6
[Jesus] being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God

A convert will already have the respect/devotion since they have already accepted the Quran as the word of Allah in order to become Muslim.
However, memorising Quran helps us do our prayers, and insha-allah will increase our devotion.
Anyway, it's useful to first learn surah 1, and then from surah 114 backwards (as many as you can). The verse of the throne is at surah2 verse 255.

We believe in the Gospel of Jesus, and what he brought. Not the gospels according to mark, matthew, luke and john. books of men, nothing holy about them.

Whatever God revealed to him and he preached to those he was sent to. Just like we believe what God revealed to Moses, and the other prophets. Those revelations were not meant to be preserved as they were for a certain time and people, so they do not exist anymore. And we believe Muhammad pbuh is the last and final of these prophets from God, what God revelead to him, He promised to preserve, as it the final, and we have it today, like he had it 1400 years ago.

In the comment I was replying to you didn't quote from the Koran, and you said that the gospels "were written way after Jesus," implying that they weren't reliable because of their date. We do not believe that God is human. We believe that He came in human form to save us.

First, let me say that you can never have a decent knowledge of Scripture if you randomly pull out verses as "proofs." The Bible often refers to itself, and if you don't understand certain concepts you won't be able to understand verses. Keep this in mind, please.
Jesus was not saying that He was inferior to God, He was saying that He is subject to God's authority. At the same time He says this, He is saying that He is equal with God...
