Anyway, however, here goes; "O my beloved, rain has bloomed with fountains of nectar bringing love to the eyesight; My heart calls out to you, O beloved, My heart burns in a sweet fire; In such a beautiful shower, O beloved, my eyes, thirsty for your sight, lost themselves in dreaming about you; In this beautiful and dark cloudy night, night has fled from my eyes; and I can't go to sleep, O beloved". sorry am not a poet!
Will, Can today's music composers & song writers take an example from this SIMPLE SWEET RELAXING music ?
Maybe, there will be a market for it; if today's generation takes to this music for stress busting & detoxifying instead of paying money to get detoxed to some charlatans.
Even save our heritage before it is too late, in the bargain
Full kudos to Salida n Bimal da fr dis wndrful picturization on wndrful Sadhana! One of da rare actresses who look sweet with neglegible makeup in any dress! Melodious sweet song! Luv it!
@tkyaheya Oh those days or Radio Ceylon were days we can never forget. The broadcast and prsentation was fantastic with the collection the station had was 100% perfect with almost no that would not be there in their storage and NO stateion to come even close to it. And announcers they had with God given talent and voice like Gopal Sharma, Amin Sayani, Shivkumar Saroj were additional highlights of the station.
What a luck Sadhana had that the films she signed for acting fortunately went hit musically. It is a coincident that picturised songs were sung by Lata Mangeshkar and almost every song scored a mile stone.(9th Jan 2011)
The most beautiful actress of our collage days. She looked extrmely pretty without any makeup in fact always looked far better without make-up (being naturally befutiful) especially in her early days.
I consider this song as the top song in the history of indian movies in the last 60 years. I listen to this song in every possible mode, hindi version, bengali version, on violin, harmonium , sitar , even sung by other singers ,
I love it! I had an Indian Friend as a child and this song was on an album she used to play. I would love to know the name of the whole album. I loved the music and voice then and even more now!
Please tell me the name of the album - or more songs this lady sang.

Wonderful days were those when we used to listen All India Radio Urdu Service. These songs remind me of program akhir-e-shab (12:00 to 12:30 PST)

Very touching, sensitive song, beautifully sung by Lata. And Sadhna attractive as ever.
They don't write songs like this any more.
